    • Lifts 15th homer
Soto went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Soto has been in the zone lately, going 14-for-39 (.359) with six homers and 12 RBI over his last 10 contests. He's produced five multi-hit efforts in that span. The star outfielder is up to 15 long balls this season, and he's added a .312/.408/.581 slash line, 46 RBI, 40 runs scored, four stolen bases and 11 doubles over 56 contests. • Generates team's only run
Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and a stolen base in a loss to the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Chisholm notched two of Miami's four hits in the contest and produced the team's only run with a third-inning solo shot. The center fielder added a swipe of third base in the eighth inning to give him 10 thefts on the campaign. Chisholm is working on a six-game hitting streak during which he's gone 9-for-23 with three doubles, two homers, three RBI and four runs. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:24 pm
    • Chisholm Jr. homers, steals base Monday
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 with a stolen base, a double, and a solo home run against the Padres on Monday.

Advice: The home run was Chisholm Jr.’s eighth and the stolen base was his 10th. He’s 27-for-95 (.284) in the month of May and his average is up to .265 on the season with a .792 OPS. Chisholm provided all of the offense for the Marlins as they lost to the Padres 2-1. Rotoworld Monday, 6:26 pm
    • Jarren Duran goes 0-for-5 in loss to Orioles
Jarren Duran went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts on Monday in the Red Sox’ loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Duran has been mired in a little bit of a funk lately, batting .233 (7-for-30) with one homer and one steal over his last seven contests. It’s an extremely small sample size, but if we frame out a bit more, he’s hitting .262 (32-for-122) with just two homers and three steals over his last 30 contests. The 27-year-old has shown glimpses of immense fantasy potential as a power/speed combo threat, but it hasn’t quite come together completely this season as he sits at only three homers and 11 steals through Memorial Day. • Juan Soto plates run in loss to Padres
Juan Soto doubled, walked and drove in a run as the Yankees fell to the Padres on Sunday afternoon in San Diego.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar broke a scoreless tie with a run-scoring double off of Joe Musgrove in the sixth inning. That would wind up being the Bombers’ only tally until the ninth inning. Soto is once again enjoying an outstanding all-around season at the plate — slashing a robust .310/.408/.571 with 14 homers, 44 RBI and four stolen bases. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:10 pm

    • Placed on IL with oblique strain
The Rays placed Lowe on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a right oblique strain.

Advice: Lowe left Wednesday's game against the Red Sox due to right side tightness, and an MRI on Thursday revealed an oblique strain for the 26-year-old. Lowe began the year on the IL due to a Grade 1 right oblique strain, and he didn't make his season debut until May 6. The severity of the new oblique strain isn't known, but given that it's on the right side again, Lowe could be on the shelf beyond the 10-day minimum. For his part, Lowe said Saturday that he's hopeful for an abbreviated stay on the shelf, and he expects to resume baseball activities Monday, per Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. For whatever length of time Lowe misses, Jonny DeLuca, Jose Siri and Richie Palacios should benefit from more playing time in the outfield. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:17 am

    • Josh Lowe lands on IL with oblique strain
Rays placed OF Josh Lowe on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to May 23, with a right oblique strain.

Advice: Ugh. There was some optimism that Lowe wouldn’t be facing a lengthy absence after he wasn’t put on the injured list ahead of Friday’s series opener. The 26-year-old fantasy stalwart told reporters Saturday that he hopes to only have a minimum stay on the injured list, which is extremely encouraging. He’s been limited to just 14 games this season due to persistent injuries. It sounds like there’s a strong possibility he’ll return in early June. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:07 am

    • Blasts homer Friday
Soto went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and a walk in Friday's 8-0 win over the Padres.

Advice: Soto's homer stretched the Yankees' lead to 3-0 in the third inning. The superstar outfielder has gone 11-for-27 (.407) with five homers and nine RBI over his last seven contests. This was his fourth multi-hit effort in that span, lifting his slash line to .315/.413/.581 through 53 games this season. Soto has added 14 homers, 43 RBI, 39 runs scored, four stolen bases, 10 doubles and a triple. The Yankees have won 10 of their last 12 games, and Soto's been doing his part to contribute to that success. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:42 pm

    • Juan Soto homers, doubles against former club
Juan Soto homered and doubled in the Yankees’ 8-0 rout of the Padres on Friday.

Advice: Revenge game? Soto was facing his former club, and he kept doing what he’s done for the overwhelming majority of 2024. The 25-year-old scorched one of four homers Yu Darvish gave up on the evening, and he’s gone deep 14 times in his first year in New York. Soto also doubled and walked, and any questions about how he’d handle the pressure of New York have been answered with a resounding “pretty easily.” Rotoworld Friday, 9:26 pm
