    • Turns in scoreless appearance
Francis allowed three hits and a walk over four shutout innings in a no-decision Sunday.

Advice: Francis made his first start since April 7 and efficiently worked through four shutout frames, needing only 49 pitches to get it done. In his first two starts this season, he was tagged with 12 runs through just 8.1 innings. Sunday's outing was his second appearance since returning from the injured list due to a forearm issue. Francis lowered his ERA to 7.36 with a 22:8 K:BB through 22 innings this season. His next start is lined up to be at home against the Guardians. Rotowire.com Today, 8:37 pm
    • Drives in five runs
Kiner-Falefa went 2-for-3 with a double and five RBI in Sunday's win over Oakland. He was also caught stealing.

Advice: Kiner-Falefa knocked a two-run single in the second inning before capping off his day with a clutch bases-clearing double in the 10th to help secure the win. After an ugly 0-for-20 skid in the middle of May, he's gone 22-for-64 (.344) over his last 18 games. That hot streak has boosted his season slash line to .275/.319/.394 with 26 RBI and 13 extra-base hits through 209 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 8:00 pm

    • Struggles continue in return
Winn (3-7) suffered the loss Sunday, allowing seven runs on six hits and two walks over 4.1 innings against the Rangers. He struck out seven.

Advice: At least Winn was efficient in needing just 69 pitches while allowing eight baserunners and striking out seven. Otherwise, there wasn't much else good to glean from his start. He allowed five runs in the first two innings, then was pulled in the fifth after allowing a walk and a double, with both runners eventually coming in to score to leave him with a final line of seven runs allowed. The other positive is that Winn was able to return to the hill after landing on the IL with the dreaded forearm strain in mid-May. However, it was more of the same as he had allowed 17 runs in three starts spanning 8.1 innings prior to landing on the injured list. If Winn is able to maintain his spot in the rotation, his next start is tentatively slated to take place next weekend when the Giants host the Angels. Rotowire.com Today, 6:57 pm
    • Aaron Judge hits 24th homer as Yankees top Dodgers
Aaron Judge blasted his 24th home run of the season on Sunday night, helping to power the Yankees to victory over the visiting Dodgers.

Advice: Judge connected on a titanic 434-foot (107.6 mph EV) solo shot off of Yohan Ramirez in the eighth inning, increasing the Bombers’ lead to 6-4. The 32-year-old superstar also smacked a run-scoring double in the third inning. He then singled and rode home on Trent Grisham’s three-run blast in the sixth. With his 3-for-4 night, Judge is now slashing an absurd .305/.436/.703 to go with a league-leading 24 homers, 59 RBI and five stolen bases. Rotoworld Today, 6:56 pm
    • Clay Holmes walks tightrope, but escapes with save
Clay Holmes walked the tightrope against the Dodgers in the ninth inning on Sunday, but managed to escape with a two-run lead intact to earn his 19th save of the season.

Advice: Holmes had no trouble getting the first two outs of the inning, but then he allowed singles to Gavin Lux and Enrique Hernandez to put the tying runs on base for Mookie Betts. He battled back though, getting Betts on a swinging third strike to close it out for the Yankees. The 31-year-old hurler has been outstanding this season, posting a 1.23 ERA and 29/8 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings to go along with his 19 saves. Rotoworld Today, 6:56 pm

    • Carlos Estévez earns victory against Astros Sunday
Carlos Estévez picked up his first victory of the season on Sunday, working a scoreless ninth inning in a tied game against the Astros.

Advice: The 31-year-old hurler came on to work the top half of the ninth inning after the Angels had rallied to score two runs in the eighth to tie the game. Estevez retired the side in order — including a strikeout of Yainer Diaz — then became the beneficiary when the Angels walked it off in the home half of the inning. On the season, he sports a 4.05 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and a 19/3 K/BB ratio over 20 innings while recording 10 saves in 13 chances. Rotoworld Today, 4:54 pm

    • Justin Verlander struggles again in no-decision
Justin Verlander struggled again in a no-decision against the Angels on Sunday, giving up four runs on seven hits over his five frames.

Advice: The 41-year-old hurler struck out three batters on the afternoon and didn’t allow a base on balls. The Angels scratched out a pair of runs on sacrifice flies off the bat of Nolan Schanuel, added another as Mickey Moniak bunted into a fielder’s choice in the fourth inning and then Willie Calhoun smacked a run-scoring single in the fifth. Still, Verlander exited with his team leading 7-4 and in line for a victory — but the Astros’ bullpen couldn’t hang on for him. He got just three swings and misses on 101 pitches in the game, posting a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll try to bounce back as he carries a 3.95 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 51/17 K/BB ratio (57 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against Tarik Skubal and the Tigers. Rotoworld Today, 4:54 pm
    • Isiah Kiner-Falefa plates five runs to lead Jays
Isiah Kiner-Falefa went 2-for-3 with a double and five RBI on Sunday afternoon, propelling the Blue Jays to a 6-4 victory over the Athletics in 10 innings in Oakland.

Advice: Kiner-Falefa got the scoring started in the second inning with a two-run single off of Mitch Spence. He was then nabbed trying to steal second base — the first time that he has been caught all season. The versatile 29-year-old then delivered the biggest blow of the game with a bases-clearing three-run double off of Austin Adams that put the Blue Jays ahead in the 10th inning. With his two-hit attack, Kiner-Falefa is now slashing .275/.319/.394 on the season with four homers, 26 RBI and three stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Today, 3:46 pm

    • Bowden Francis pitches well in spot start Sunday
Bowden Francis pitched well in a spot start against the Athletics on Sunday, allowing just three hits and a walk over four scoreless innings.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander struck out three batters on the afternoon. He needed just 49 pitches (31 strikes) to navigate his four frames — getting seven swings and misses and registering a CSW of 22 percent. It’s unclear if he’ll take another turn through the Jays’ rotation next weekend against the Guardians, or if he’ll head back to the bullpen after this one. Rotoworld Today, 3:45 pm
