The third baseman has added a major-league-best 56 RBI with 41 runs scored, eight stolen bases and a .272/.328/.558 slash line over 54 games this season.       Advice: Ramírez has spent most of the year with a slash line well below his usual standards, but going 16-for-44 with seven homers and six doubles in his last 11 games has pushed him up to .272/.328/.558, and he now has eight more RBI (56) than anyone else in the majors.       Jurickson Profar had a two-run homer and an RBI single to drive in three of the Padres’ four runs Tuesday against the Marlins.

      Advice: We’re still not sure what’s gotten into Profar, but he’s hitting the ball harder than ever and he’s currently boasting a .354 BABIP that’s nearly 90 points better than his career mark.       Advice: Seager sent his 12th homer of the season 407 feet into the right field stands to give the Rangers a 4-2 lead. It was a three-run homer for Seager, who upped his RBI total to 27 on the season, with 11 of those RBI coming in his last seven games.       Brandon Pfaadt allowed six hits and four earned runs over seven innings in the Diamondbacks’ loss to the Rangers.

      Advice: Pfaadt got some early run support in the second inning but the Diamondbacks were unable to keep pace with the Rangers, who hung three runs on Pfaadt in the fifth inning via a Corey Seager three-run homer. Pfaadt allowed three or more earned runs in three of his five starts in May, and picked up just one win on the month.       Royce Lewis (quad) played seven innings at third base on Tuesday for Triple-A St. Paul.

      Advice: Lewis went 0-for-3 at the dish and made his first appearance in the field since kicking off a minor league rehab assignment last week. The 24-year-old third baseman will presumably require at least a handful of additional tune-up contests to get back up to speed before returning to Minnesota.
