    Luis Rengifo had a two-run homer and an RBI single versus the Astros on Tuesday.

    Advice: Rengifo definitely wasn’t Ron Washington’s favorite player at the beginning of the year, but he’s been one of the best Angels thus far, having hit .316/.366/.474 in 124 plate appearances. Statcast thinks he’s way overachieving, given that his exit velocity numbers are significantly worse than his career marks, but things will probably even out there somewhat; his .840 OPS won’t quite hold up, but his exit velocity numbers should get better.   • Pair of hits, homer
    France went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Yankees.

    Advice: The first baseman clubbed his fifth homer of the campaign, taking Dennis Santana yard in the seventh frame.     Advice: Moore clubbed his fifth and sixth long balls of the campaign, tagging Clarke Schmidt for a two-run shot in the third and Nick Burdi for a solo shot in the ninth.     Acuna went 0-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

    Advice: The steal was Acuna's first since May 4, an unusually long drought without a theft for the speedy outfielder. He was caught on his only attempt over 12 games between steals. Acuna has struggled to get into a rhythm at the plate this season, slashing .247/.355/.351 with three home runs, 12 RBI, 36 runs scored and 15 steals over 203 plate appearances. Some regression from last year's 41-homer, 73-steal campaign was to be expected in 2024, but Acuna's career-low .706 OPS so far has been a brutal over-correction of his fortune.     Harris went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

    Advice: Harris started May in a dreadful 0-for-26 slump, but he's snapped out of it by going 10-for-39 (.256) with two homers, two steals, four RBI and three runs scored over his last 10 contests. The outfielder is slashing .250/.289/.378 with five homers, seven steals, 17 RBI and 19 runs scored through 45 games this season. Harris hit over .290 and flirted with 20-20 years in each of his first two big-league campaigns, so there's still another level he can get back to as he rebounds from his slump.     Advice: Arcia opened the scoring with his second-inning blast off Chicago starter Javier Assad. This was Arcia's first multi-hit effort since May 8 -- he's gone 9-for-44 (.205) with three homers, three doubles and five RBI over his last 12 contests. The shortstop is slashing .247/.273/.416 with five homers, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored, 13 doubles and no stolen bases over 176 plate appearances in a starting role this season.     Mike Tauchman went 2-for-5 and knocked in two runs Tuesday as the Cubs edged the Braves 4-3 in 10 innings.

    Hoerner went 1-for-5 with one RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over Atlanta.

    Advice: Hoerner had a relatively unimpressive return after missing over a week with a hamstring issue, but he made up for it with a one-out, walk-off single in the 10th inning. The infielder is slashing .267/.357/.385 with two home runs, 13 RBI, 25 runs scored and five stolen bases over 185 plate appearances.     Renfroe went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Tigers.

    Advice: Renfroe has gone 6-for-24 (.250) with five RBI over his last seven contests. While that's still modest hitting, it's a vast improvement on his .160 batting average for the season. Despite the middling results at the plate, Renfroe has started six of the last eight games in right field and appears to have fended off challenges for playing time from Dairon Blanco and Adam Frazier that popped up earlier in May.
