    Grissom has a mild right hamstring strain and is expected to be placed on the injured list, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reported Saturday.

    Advice: Grissom was removed from Saturday's game against the Tigers in the third inning after slowing up and grabbing his right hamstring running to first on a groundout. While it's not the same hamstring that sidelined him at the start of the year, Saturday's injury will likely require an IL stint.     Vaughn Grissom was pulled from Saturday’s contest against the Tigers in the third inning due to a right hamstring strain.

    Advice: Grissom missed plenty of action at the start of the 2024 season due to a left hamstring strain, so same issue but different leg. The severity of the strain — as well as how much time he may stand to miss — are not yet known.     Tovar went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 4-1 win over the Dodgers.

    Advice: Tovar was the only Rockie with multiple hits in the contest. This was his 10th multi-hit effort over his last 16 games, a span in which he's batting .356 (26-for-73) with four homers, nine RBI, 14 runs scored and one stolen base. The shortstop is up to a .294/.328/.481 slash line with eight homers, 24 RBI, 30 runs scored, four steals, 17 doubles and a triple over 55 contests this season.     Ezequiel Tovar went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in a win Friday against the Dodgers.

    Advice: Tovar gave the Rockies a 4-0 lead with a solo homer in the fourth off Walker Buehler. The shortstop has homered eight times in 2024 with five of them coming in May.
