• Getting second start
Poteet is scheduled to start Friday's game against the Dodgers at Yankee Stadium.

Advice: The right-hander will be making his third start of the season for the Yankees and his second straight turn through the rotation. He struck out six over five innings while allowing three runs (two earned) in a winning effort against the Giants last Saturday following his call-up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Unless the Yankees get hit by another injury in their rotation, Poteet's stay in the majors will likely come to an end once Gerrit Cole (elbow) makes his expected return from the 60-day injured list later this month. • Homers in three-hit game Thursday
Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and three total runs scored in an 11-7 victory versus the Pirates on Thursday.

Advice: Hernandez broke a 4-4 tie with a solo blast in the fifth inning, and Los Angeles never trailed again. The long ball snapped a 10-game stretch without a homer for the veteran outfielder, and after a hot start to the season, he's gone deep just twice over his past 23 contests. However, Hernandez still ranks second on the Dodgers with 13 homers and 39 RBI overall. Rotowire.com Today, 10:38 am
  • Lands save
Stanek threw a perfect ninth inning Thursday against Oakland to pick up the save.

Advice: Stanek got the call in the ninth with closer Andres Munoz (back) unavailable and corralled his fourth save of the season. While Munoz is expected to return this weekend, Stanek should be the Mariners' go-to closing option in the meantime. The right-hander owns a 3.52 ERA across 23.0 innings, adding three wins and 10 holds in 26 appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 6:41 am
  • Two steals in win
Witt went 1-for-4 with a walk and two stolen bases in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Witt has gone 13-for-31 (.419) with 10 RBI and three steals during his seven-game hitting streak. While he didn't score Thursday, he was active on the basepaths for his third multi-steal game of the season. The shortstop is up to a .317/.371/.560 slash line with 19 thefts, 11 home runs, 46 RBI and 54 runs scored through 63 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:30 pm

  • Goes deep in loss
Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Suzuki took Hunter Greene deep in the third inning for his seventh home run of the season. The outfielder now has three long balls over his last seven games, and he's batting a .308 during that span. Suzuki's numbers don't always jump off the page with a .781 OPS, but he's a fairly consistent contributor who gets plenty of playing time, which allows him to make an impact in most fantasy formats. • Stanek pitches scoreless ninth to get save vs. A’s
Ryne Stanek didn’t allow a hit while picking up a save Thursday against the Athletics.

Advice: Stanek got the save chance with Andres Munoz (back) unavailable Thursday. The right-hander didn’t pick up a strikeout, but he was able to lower his ERA to 3.52 while procuring his fourth save of the season. If Munoz can’t go over the weekend against the Royals, Stanek could get more chances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:14 pm
  • Bobby Witt Jr. steals two bags in win over CLE
Bobby Witt Jr. reached twice while stealing two bases in a 4-3 win for the Royals over the Guardians on Thursday.

Advice: Witt Jr. is now up to 19 thefts on the year. The speedy superstar is playing at an MVP level with a .317/.371/.560 slash, and has picked up hits in each game thus far in June. If 2025 drafts were held now — and they are decidedly not — it’d be hard to argue that he wouldn’t be the first pick in the overwhelming majority of leagues. Scary to think he’s still only 23, too. • Wilmer Flores homers, plates five in blowout win
Wilmer Flores went 2-for-5 with a grand slam and five RBI on Wednesday in the Giants’ lopsided win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Flores played a pivotal role in San Francisco’s unexpected six-run explosion against Arizona starter Jordan Montgomery in the third inning of this one, walloping a grand slam to left field for his second big fly of the season. It was the first time he’s gone deep since May 4. He also picked up an additional RBI in the late stages of the contest with a ninth-inning sacrifice fly. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:13 pm

  • Drives in five in win
Flores went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run and five RBI in Wednesday's 9-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The Giants launched three homers on the day, but Flores' grand slam off Jordan Montgomery in the third inning proved to be the biggest blow. Flores snapped a 21-game homer drought with the blast, but that May 4 shot was his only other homer on the season. The 32-year-old's five RBI on Wednesday equaled his total from his prior 26 games combined. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:45 pm
