      Teoscar Hernández went 2-for-4 and doubled in two runs in the 11th to propel the Dodgers past the Yankees 2-1 on Friday.

      Advice: It was a scoreless game until Hernández delivered the contest’s first big hit off Ian Hamilton in the 11th. It actually gave him his first multi-RBI game since May 14.       Anthony Rizzo popped out with the tying run on base to conclude a Yankees loss and an 0-for-5 game against the Dodgers on Friday.

      Advice: The Yankees might want to give one of their outfielders a crash course at first base with Rizzo showing no sign of turning things around and Jasson Domínguez making strides in his return from Tommy John.       Oneil Cruz went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run against the Twins on Friday.

      Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and three total runs scored in an 11-7 victory versus the Pirates on Thursday.

      Advice: Hernandez broke a 4-4 tie with a solo blast in the fifth inning, and Los Angeles never trailed again. The long ball snapped a 10-game stretch without a homer for the veteran outfielder, and after a hot start to the season, he's gone deep just twice over his past 23 contests.       Advice: Cruz took Evan Phillips yard in the eighth inning for a three-run shot, his first home run in 15 games. While 2024 hasn't been the breakout season that fantasy managers may have expected for the talented shortstop, Cruz has eight homers, 13 doubles and five stolen bases through 229 plate appearances.       Harvey (2-2) took the loss Thursday against Atlanta, coughing up three runs on four hits in an inning of relief.

      Advice: Taking the mound with the score tied 2-2, Harvey got two quick outs before the wheels came off, with the rally highlighted by Marcell Ozuna's two-run homer on a slider that caught too much of the plate. Harvey had been scored upon only once in his prior 10 appearances, and the long ball was just the second he's served up this season in 31.1 innings. The right-hander has been generally outstanding as the Nationals' top setup man, posting a 2.87 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 34:6 K:BB, and his 18 holds already has him one away from his career high.       Advice: Ramirez entered Thursday with no homers over his last five games, matching his longest drought since he went eight contests from April 26 to May 4 without a long ball. The third baseman upped his power in late May and is now at 17 homers this season, with eight of them coming since May 17.       Corbin Carroll went 3-for-5 with a double, a steal and two runs scored as the Diamondbacks edged the Padres 4-3 on Thursday.

      Advice: It’s just Carroll’s second three-hit game of the year. All three of Carroll’s hits were legit, leaving his bat on a line at 108, 106 and 99 mph. It’s definitely his most encouraging game in weeks and maybe of the entire season. At .201, he finished the game over the Mendoza Line for the first time since May 12.       Advice: Carroll's three-hit effort got his batting average over .200 for the first time since May 12. He's opened June by going 5-for-21 (.238) over six contests, and his steal Thursday was his first since May 25. The outfielder is slashing .201/.284/.291 with two home runs, 10 thefts, 20 RBI, 30 runs scored, seven doubles and four triples over 61 games in a so-far disappointing sophomore campaign.
