Miranda went 1-for-4 with a two-RBI single during Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Royals.

Advice: Miranda's production at the plate continued Tuesday, plating Manuel Margot and Carlos Correra on a first-inning base hit. In May, Miranda is batting .276 with three long balls, 14 runs scored and 10 RBI across 22 games as the Twins' primary third baseman. However, the 26-year-old could be squeezed out of the starting lineup once Royce Lewis (quad) gets activated from the IL in the coming week or two. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago

    • Reaches four times
Buxton went 2-for-2 with a run scored, a stolen base and two walks during Tuesday's 4-2 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Buxton got on base in all four plate appearances, logging an infield single in the third frame and generating a triple in the fifth. It wasn't until the bottom of the eighth that Buxton came around to score, reaching via a base on balls and stealing second base before being plated by Edouard Julien on a base hit. Since returning from the IL on May 18, Buxton is batting .267 with two homers and a 27.3 percent strikeout rate. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

    • Avoids fracture
Manager Pat Murphy said after Tuesday's loss to the Cubs that Megill did not suffer a fracture on the line drive that hit his arm in the 10th inning, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.

Advice: It remains unclear whether or not Megill will need to spend time on the injured list, but the 30-year-old reliever seems to have avoided the worst. The righty has been operating as Milwaukee's primary closer with Devin Williams (back) on the injured list, though the ninth inning may be given to Hoby Milner or Joel Payamps if Megill is forced to miss time. • Connects for home run
Busch went 2-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and two total RBI in Tuesday's 6-3, 10-inning win over the Brewers.

Advice: Busch connected for his eighth home run of the season in the third inning, but it was only his second of the month as he's slowed down some after a hot start. Across 23 games in May, the first baseman is batting just .206 after hitting .266 in March and April. Busch should hold onto a regular role, though the Cubs have some other lineup options if they decide to mix things up. Rotowire.com 12 minutes ago

    • Remains undefeated
Woods Richardson (2-0) earned the win Tuesday against the Royals, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Woods Richardson has yet to take a loss this season. However, he hasn't been eligible for the victory in three of his eight appearances. On Tuesday, Woods Richardson held the Royals scoreless until the fifth frame, where he yielded a walk, a double and a single to the first three batters he faced as part of a two-run inning. While the 23-year-old hasn't gone deeper than six innings in a game and owns a 6.75 ERA, he's done an excellent job limiting power and holds a 2.70 ERA across 40.0 innings. • Homers in win
Refsnyder went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, a double and a second run scored in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Refsnyder doubled off Grayson Rodriguez in the first inning before scoring on a Rafael Devers' base hit. He'd then cap the scoring in the ninth with a two-run, 419-foot homer off Keegan Akin to push Boston's lead to 8-3. It's just the second long ball of the year for Refsnyder, his first since April 19, though he's been swinging the bat well of late, going 11-for-29 (.379) in his last 10 contests. Overall, Refsnyder's slashing an impressive .347/.437/.547 with 13 RBI, 11 runs scored and a steal through 28 games in a utility role with the Red Sox this season. Rotowire.com 44 minutes ago

    • Murphy: Trevor Megill didn’t fracture right elbow
Brewers manager Pat Murphy told reporters late Tuesday that Trevor Megill didn’t suffer a fracture when he was hit on the right elbow by a line-drive.

Advice: It’s an extremely encouraging update at Megill appears to have avoided serious injury after being struck directly on the right elbow by a 99-mph line-drive during Tuesday’s extra-inning showdown against the Cubs. The 30-year-old stopper is presumably day-to-day for the moment with a contusion, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he wound up requiring a trip to the injured list, just to bring in a fresh arm. • Falls to St. Louis
Abbott (3-5) took the loss Tuesday against the Cardinals, allowing six runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Abbott held St. Louis to three runs through six innings, as he pitched into the seventh for a third straight start. However, Abbott would allow the first three batters to reach in the frame, punctuated by a Nolan Gorman homer, en route to an eventual 7-1 loss. The 24-year-old left-hander had held opponents to two earned runs or fewer in nine of his 10 starts prior to Tuesday. Abbott's ERA rose to 3.29 with a 1.13 WHIP and 46:17 K:BB over 63 innings this year. He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for early next week in Colorado. • Neris blows save, Cubs down Brewers in extras
Hector Neris blew his second save of the season in the Cubs’ win over the Brewers on Tuesday.

Advice: Neris entered the game with a 1-0 lead and recorded two outs to open the bottom of the ninth. He then ran into trouble when he walked Christian Yelich, only to later balk and move Yelich into scoring position. Willy Adames would later single with two strikes to drive in Yelich and for the game into extras. It’s just the second blown save of the season for Neris, who has managed to close things out when called upon despite a concerning 1.56 WHIP. Rotoworld 53 minutes ago
