    • Set for another rehab start
Gray (elbow) will make another rehab start for Triple-A Rochester next week, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Gray was able to build up to 79 pitches over five innings during his latest rehab outing Wednesday, and the goal will be for him to get up to six innings or roughly 90 pitches. It's likely he makes his next minor-league start Tuesday, which could put him in line to return to Washington's rotation June 30 against the Rays. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:05 pm

    • Goes five innings in rehab start
Gray (elbow) struck out five over five innings while allowing two earned runs on three hits and three walks in his rehab start Wednesday with Double-A Harrisburg.

Advice: After building up to 79 pitches in what was the third start of his rehab assignment, Gray looks to be on the cusp of making his return from the 15-day injured list. According to Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com, Gray reported back to Washington on Thursday and said he felt good following his latest rehab start, but the Nationals haven't yet decided whether he'll remain on assignment or rejoin the big-league rotation. If Washington chooses to activate Gray along with keeping a five-man rotation intact, the struggling Patrick Corbin could be sent to the bullpen to make room for the right-hander. Gray could be an option to start for the Nationals as soon as Monday in San Diego. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:09 am

    • Allows five runs in return
Miller gave up five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two over 6.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: Miller missed over two months with a shoulder injury, and making his return at Coors Field was always going to be a tough task. He left the game with a lead in the seventh inning, but the Dodgers couldn't stay ahead. The 25-year-old right-hander has a 6.00 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 20:9 K:BB over 18 innings through four starts this season. Miller continues to have plenty of upside as a young pitcher supported by a strong offense, but it may take him a few starts to get fully comfortable again in the majors. He's projected for a favorable road matchup versus the White Sox in his next outing. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:53 pm

    • Bobby Miller surrenders five runs in return
Bobby Miller allowed five runs with two strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: Colorado isn’t exactly the best place to make a return off the injured list. He served up a three-run shot to Michael Toglia in the first inning. Miller then gave up one more run in the fourth before pitching into the seventh. He gave up a leadoff double and was replaced on the mound with one out. The inherited runner came in to score. The 25-year-old right-hander touched 99 mph on the fastball and sat at 97.5, a good sign going forward. He’ll take on the White Sox in Chicago next week. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:21 pm

    • Josiah Gray goes 79 pitches in latest rehab start
Josiah Gray (elbow) pitched well in Wednesday’s minor league rehab start at Double-A Harrisburg, allowing two runs on three hits over five innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander punched out five batters on the night while issuing three free passes. Gray got up to 79 pitches in the outing, and the original plan had been for him to make one additional rehab start after this one to get to around six innings or 90 pitches. Given how strong he has looked though, there’s a chance that the Nationals could opt to bring him back early. Either way, he could rejoin the Nationals’ rotation before the end of next week. • Dodgers officially place Walker Buehler on IL
Dodgers placed RHP Walker Buehler on the 15-day injured list with right hip inflammation.

Advice: Buehler was hit in the hip by a comebacker during Thursday’s bloodbath at Coors Field, so it gives the Dodgers a viable reason to stash him on the injured list for a couple of weeks while he works through some of his struggles. Buehler has pitched to a woeful 5.84 ERA and a 1.51 WHIP over 37 innings in eight starts since returning from the injured list. Bobby Miller was activated from the IL in a corresponding move on Wednesday. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:06 pm

    • Headed to injured list
Manager Dave Roberts said Buehler will be placed on the injured list Wednesday due to hip discomfort, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: The right-hander was struck in the hip by a comebacker Tuesday against the Rockies, but he was also battling a hip issue prior to that incident. Buehler surrendered seven runs during Wednesday's outing and has a 5.84 ERA through eight starts this season, and the IL stint will give him a chance to reset amid the struggles. He's without an official timeline for his return but seems likely to be sidelined beyond the 15-day minumum. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:20 pm

    • Reinstated for Wednesday's start
The Dodgers activated Miller (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Wednesday against the Rockies, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Timesreports.

Advice: The right-hander has been sidelined by shoulder inflammation since mid-April, but he's ready to rejoin the big-league rotation after a four-start rehab assignment in the minors. Miller posted a 5.40 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 18:6 K:BB over 11.2 frames in three outings prior to the injury. Walker Buehler (hip) is headed to the injured list in a corresponding move. • Delivers seven scoreless frames
Keller allowed two hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision against the Reds on Wednesday. He struck out seven.

Advice: Keller was locked in Wednesday, holding Cincinnati hitless until the fifth inning, ultimately turning in his second scoreless outing in his last three starts. However, Keller wouldn't factor into the decision, as the Pirates couldn't get on the board until Bryan Reynolds homered in the eighth, providing the lone run in a 1-0 victory. Keller's been excellent since the start of May, pitching to a 1.53 ERA over his last eight outings. Overall, the right-hander's 8-4 with a 3.11 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 85:24 K:BB across 15 starts (92.2 innings) this season. Keller will look to keep rolling in his next start, currently scheduled as a rematch with Cincinnati on the road. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:45 pm
