    Advice: The 32-year-old southpaw faced Ivan Herrera with the bases loaded and two outs after a rain delay that lasted over three hours interrupted the 10th inning, and Banks got the job done on four pitches. John Brebbia had originally gotten the call in the save situation before the delay, while Michael Kopech pitched the ninth, so Banks' usage was more due to the unusual circumstances than his prominence in the White Sox bullpen.     Advice: Stott delivered a pair of run-scoring hits in the first and second innings of this one as Philadelphia scored nine runs combined in those frames to open the contest. He also walked twice in the one-sided affair to reach base safely in four of his five plate appearances at a rain-soaked Citizens Bank Park. The 26-year-old second baseman hasn’t exactly come out of the gate on fire, but he holds a respectable .240/.330/.375 triple-slash line with three homers, 16 RBI and six steals through 30 games.     Ranger Suárez gave up three runs over six innings on Saturday in a win over the Giants.

    Advice: Suárez was staked to a commanding nine-run advantage by the start of the third inning at a rain-soaked Citizens Bank Park, and wound up cruising to a relatively easy victory, gobbling up six frames before handing an 11-run lead over to Philadelphia’s bullpen. The 28-year-old southpaw isn’t overpowering, but he’s been extremely effective this season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in seven consecutive starts.     Keaton Winn was lit up for five runs and recorded only two outs on Saturday in a loss to the Phillies.

    Advice: Winn struggled mightily following a lengthy rain delay just prior to first pitch, departing after throwing 39 pitches (24 strikes) and recording only two outs in a disastrous opening frame. He gave up four hits, issued a pair of walks, hit one batter and failed to record a strikeout. It was a rare clunker for the 26-year-old righty after reeling off six straight quality outings to open the year. We’re happy to chalk it up to the extremely poor, rain-soaked conditions and willing to give Winn a muligan here. He’ll bring a 4.41 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 28/12 K/BB ratio across 34 2/3 innings (seven starts) into a tough road matchup on Thursday afternoon against the Rockies at Coors Field.     Fedde escaped with a no-decision Saturday in a 6-5 extra-inning win over the Cardinals, giving up five runs on four hits and five walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out two.

    Advice: The right-hander blanked St. Louis for four innings despite issuing free passes in the first, second and fourth frames, but his luck ran out in the fifth. Fortunately for Fedde, the White Sox came back to tie the game up after he left the mound before winning in the 10th. Fedde threw only 48 of 91 pitches for strikes in his shortest outing of the season, and he has walked at least three batters in three of his last five starts.     The Blue Jays acquired Kuhnel from the Astros on Saturday in exchange for cash considerations, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

    Blackburn (3-1) registered the win Saturday against the Marlins, yielding just one run on four hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out three.

    Advice: Blackburn was perfect through the first three innings and then really got to put it on cruise control after the Athletics offense spotted him a 12-0 lead. A leadoff home run by Nick Fortes in the sixth inning represented the only scoring off Blackburn. It's a nice bounce-back performance from the veteran right-hander after he allowed 13 runs over his previous three outings. Blackburn is slated to take on the Mariners in Seattle next.   • Arraez collects four hits to lead Padres in debut
    Luis Arraez had quite the night at the plate in his Padres’ debut on Saturday night, going 4-for-6 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI as the Padres walloped the Diamondbacks 13-1.

    Advice: Arraez led off the game with a double off of Brandon Pfaadt, then raced around to score the Padres’ first run on an RBI single off the bat of Manny Machado. He singled in the third inning and then added an RBI single in the fourth inning. Arraez also led off the seventh inning with a single and scored on an RBI double by Machado.
