    • Tosses eight scoreless
Gilbert (4-4) took the win Sunday, allowing two hits and no walks with nine strikeouts over eight scoreless innings against Texas.

Advice: Gilbert generated 21 whiffs Sunday, punching out eight batters for the fourth time this season while blanking the Rangers. The 27-year-old has now gone deeper than six innings in three straight starts and has walked merely one batter across his last 33.2 innings. He's now tied with Corbin Burnes and Tanner Houck for the league lead with 12 quality starts and paces MLB with 98.1 innings pitched. Gilbert is lined up for a start in pitcher-friendly LoanDepot Park next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 7:34 pm

    • K's season-high seven
Eflin did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk against Atlanta. He struck out seven.

Advice: Eflin entered the sixth inning with a four-run lead but after retiring the first two batters of the inning, allowed four-consecutive singles, and was removed one-out shy of completing six full innings. The seven strikeouts marked a season high for Eflin, who had failed to record more than three strikeouts during any of his previous five starts. He'll carry a 4.12 ERA and 1.17 WHIP into his next start, currently slated to take place over the weekend when the Rays travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates. • Roughed up in loss
Lively (6-3) took the loss Sunday against Toronto, yielding four earned runs on six hits and three walks in four innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Lively pitched for the first time in eight days after leaving his most recent start with tightness after 65 pitches. He surrendered a two-run home run to Ernie Clement in the second inning, his first home run allowed since May 26. The four earned runs are a season worst for the 32-year-old, who had notched wins in each of his previous five starts. Despite Sunday's rough outing, Lively has pitched well for Cleveland this season, logging a 3.02 ERA, a 1.19 WHIP and a 52:18 K:BB across 59.2 innings pitched. He is currently scheduled for a rematch against Toronto next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 4:22 pm

    • Logan Gilbert dominates Rangers in 5-0 game
Logan Gilbert allowed two hits and walked none over eight innings in the Mariners’ 5-0 shutout of the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Gilbert recorded 21 whiffs and nine strikeouts in one of the best outings of his still rather young career. He’s 12-for-15 giving the Mariners quality starts this year, which would seem to warrant better than 4-4 record. His 2.93 ERA ranks 15th in the majors, but his 0.92 WHIP places fifth. • Lively gives up four in loss to Blue Jays Sunday
Ben Lively allowed four runs in four innings and got the loss against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Lively gave up six hits, walked three and struck out four. He had won his last five starts. Lively had allowed two runs through the first four innings. He was removed after walking Spencer Horwitz and Davis Schneider to begin the fifth inning. Both runners scored on Daulton Varsho’s grand slam off Nick Sandlin. Lively isn’t as good as his 3.02 ERA suggests given his 4.15 xFIP. He’s benefited greatly from an 85 percent left on base percentage and that caught it up with him a little bit on Sunday. He’s still been a really good find off the waiver wire for fantasy managers. The 32-year-old right-hander is set to face the Blue Jays at home next week.

    • Zach Eflin strikes out seven in no-decision
Zach Eflin allowed three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings on Sunday against the Braves. He allowed seven hits while walking one and striking out seven.

Advice: Eflin continues to flash the brilliance he showed last season while faltering in key moments. He cruised through five innings after a lead-off home run by Jarred Kelenic but unraveled with two outs in the sixth. It’s frustrating to see him fall one out shy of the quality start while the bullpen blew his win despite objectively pitching well against Atlanta. His ERA sits at 4.12 on the season. • Earns 12th save
Estevez struck out two in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in a 4-3 win over the Giants on Saturday.

Advice: Called upon in the ninth inning for the second night in a row, Estevez needed just 12 pitches to secure his 12th save of the season. Estevez has not allowed a baserunner in five June appearances and has now converted six consecutive save opportunities dating back to May 20. On the season, Estevez is 12-for-15 in save chances with a 3.68 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 22:3 K:BB in 22 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:04 pm
    • Likely out through All-Star break
Kelly (shoulder) is expected to be held out through the All-Star break, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports Saturday.

Advice: Manager Torey Lovullo noted that Kelly hasn't thrown beyond 75 feet yet and is being brought along slowly. The 35-year-old has been sidelined since late April and didn't start a throwing program until June 4. If he does end up sitting through the All-Star break, Kelly wouldn't be back until July 19 at the earliest. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:41 pm

    • Carlos Estévez secures 12th save versus Giants
Carlos Estévez tossed a clean ninth inning with one strikeout to earn the save against the Giants on Saturday.

Advice: Estévez was summoned in the ninth inning to close out the game with a one-run led over the Giants. He shut them down, retiring the side on 12 pitches and ending the game with a called third strike on Heliot Ramos. The 31-year-old right-hander is up to 12 saves with a 3.68 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and a 22/3 K/BB ratio across 22 innings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:52 pm
