    Advice: Pillar took Bryan Abreu deep in the seventh to put the Angels back up 5-4 and extend his hitting streak to eight games. He's been on an absolute tear since signing with the Angels on April 30. In the month of May, Pillar is slashing .426/.460/.766 with four homers, 17 RBI, 12 runs and a 2:9 BB:K through 14 games. Prior to his release from the White Sox on April 26, the 35-year-old was slashing just .160/.290/.360 with a homer, four RBI, a run scored and a 4:8 BB:K through 17 games.     Pederson went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Dodgers.

    Advice: A half inning after the Dodgers crept within a run in the bottom of the sixth, Pederson connected on a slider for a three-run home run to give the Diamondbacks breathing room. It was the sixth homer of the season for Pederson, who also picked up his 500th career RBI with the blast (501 RBI over 11 MLB seasons).     Advice: Arizona was up 4-3 when Pederson homered off Michael Grove to put the game away. It was Pederson’s sixth homer.     Advice: Hernández got a visit from the trainer after hurting his ankle while fielding a single in the second inning tonight, but he was able to finish the game without incident.     Advice: The Red Sox executed a first-and-third double-steal perfectly in the eighth inning, as the throw to second to catch Rafael Devers stealing was cut off early and returned to home wasn't in time to tag the speedy Duran.     Advice: Fry didn't start Tuesday, but he delivered a two-run home run when he pinch hit for Kyle Manzardo in the sixth inning. Over his last 11 games, Fry has gone 10-for-27 (.370) with four homers, nine RBI, 10 runs scored, two stolen bases and an 8:6 BB:K. The 28-year-old is taking advantage of every opportunity he gets despite lacking an everyday spot in the lineup. He's up to a .338/.476/.588 slash line with five homers, 18 RBI, 19 runs scored and three steals over 105 plate appearances this season.     Mike Tauchman went 2-for-5 and knocked in two runs Tuesday as the Cubs edged the Braves 4-3 in 10 innings.

The veteran is seeing regular time at DH and in right field, with Seiya Suzuki also in the mix for both spots.
