• Slugs homer in win
Naylor went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Naylor snapped a 25-game homer drought dating back to May 4. The catcher has struggled at the plate for much of the campaign, but he's gone a respectable 6-for-23 (.261) over his last seven contests. With the Guardians carrying three catchers, Naylor's margin for error at the plate is thin -- he doesn't have the defensive skill of Austin Hedges or the offensive consistency of David Fry in his favor. Naylor is slashing .184/.253/.291 with four homers, 15 RBI, 18 runs scored and one stolen base over 174 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Jun 22, 7:12 pm
  • Busy day in loss
Chapman went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base in a 9-4 loss to the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Chapman singled, stole second and scored in the first inning, and then walked and scored again in the third. He later added another single in the eighth. This was Chapman's first multi-hit effort since June 4, but it's encouraging to see him active on the bases considering he missed two games to a hamstring injury June 9 and 10. On the season, the third baseman is hitting .232 with eight home runs, 30 RBI, 47 runs scored and a career-high six stolen bases in 285 at-bats. Rotowire.com Jun 22, 7:11 pm
  • Seven-game hitting streak
Arozarena went 2-for-4 with a double Friday against the Pirates.

Advice: Arozarena extended his hitting streak to seven games, two of which have been multi-hit efforts. He's hitting .391 in that span while tallying two homers, six RBI, five runs scored and three stolen bases. With this stretch, Arozarena has raised his average to .191 -- his highest mark since April 14. Rotowire.com Jun 22, 7:24 am
  • Can't complete five innings
Paddack allowed three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out three over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Friday.

Advice: Paddack again struggled against Oakland, though his last start was worse as he allowed five runs in 2.1 innings. The right-hander has a poor 5.29 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 70:18 K:BB over 78.1 innings through 15 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road in Arizona, though he hasn't pitched well enough to be a reliable fantasy option. Rotowire.com Jun 21, 10:22 pm

  • Chris Paddack ineffective again against A’s
Chris Paddack picked up no decision Friday against the A’s after being charged for three runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Advice: Paddack gave up five hits, and he also had issues with control as seen in three walks and 52-of-82 pitches landing for strikes. It’s a better outing then Sunday’s struggles against the Athletics, but that’s not saying much since he gave up five runs in 2 1/3 innings in that start. The 28-year-old now has an unhealthy 5.28 ERA on the season, and he’ll try and get on track against the Diamondbacks next week. Rotoworld Jun 21, 9:08 pm

  • Idle again
Naylor is out of the lineup Friday against Toronto.

Advice: Naylor will ride the pine for a second consecutive game, giving way to Austin Hedges behind the dish Friday. Naylor is 5-for-28 (.178) in his last nine games with a 36.7 percent strikeout rate during that stretch. Rotowire.com Jun 21, 1:23 pm
  • Headed to IL
Caratini (left hip flexor strain) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday, retroactive to Thursday.

Advice: Caratini was lifted from Wednesday's game against the White Sox with soreness in his left quad, but imaging revealed he's in fact dealing with a left hip flexor strain. Cesar Salazar should see some catching work behind Yainer Diaz while Caratini is sidelined. Rotowire.com Jun 21, 12:56 pm
  • Astros placed Victor Caratini on 10-day IL
Astros placed C Victor Caratini on the 10-day injured list with a left hip flexor strain.

Advice: The move is retroactive to June 20th. The veteran backstop was hitting .248 with four home runs and 17 RBI in 105 at-bats this season. Cesar Salazar should fill in as the backup catcher. Rotoworld Jun 21, 12:51 pm
