    • Taking seat Sunday
Jansen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Jansen started the previous three games but will hit the bench after going 3-for-10 with a double and a run. Alejandro Kirk will step in behind the plate Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 9:17 am

    • Gets break Sunday
O'Hoppe is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: The 24-year-old will get a break as Matt Thaiss starts at catcher and bats sixth for Los Angeles' series finale against Texas. O'Hoppe has started the last seven games for the Angels, going 5-for-28 with five RBI and one home run. Rotowire.com Today, 9:01 am

    • Danny Jansen gets Sunday break vs. Rays
Danny Jansen is not in the lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Rays.

Advice: Jansen went 3-for-7 with a double over the first two games of the series against Tampa Bay, but the team will get the 29-year-old rest whenever they can. Alejandro Kirk is hitting eighth and behind the plate. Rotoworld Today, 7:46 am

    • Out of lineup Sunday
Cabrera is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

Advice: The third-year major leaguer will start from the dugout in the second straight game as the Yankees close out their series with Chicago. Jon Berti will get the start at third base and bat ninth in place of Cabrera. Rotowire.com Today, 7:39 am

Oswaldo Cabrera is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: Cabrera, 25, also sat out Saturday after going 0-for-4 Friday. The infielder will be a bench option with Jon Berti hitting ninth and manning the hot corner for the series finale. Austin Wells also is on the bench Sunday with Jose Trevino lined up as the starting backstop. Rotoworld Today, 7:27 am

    • Dominant in first win
Buehler (1-1) earned the win over the Reds on Saturday, striking out seven over six shutout innings while allowing three hits.

Advice: Buehler looked like his old self for the first time since returning from the injured list, allowing just one single over the first four innings and one extra-base hit on the night while posting a season-high seven strikeouts. The right-hander hadn't gone more than four innings in either of his previous two starts to open the campaign and had also allowed at least one home run in each of those outings. However, Buehler might have found his groove Saturday as he managed to get through six frames on just 78 pitches while also allowing just three hits, which marked a season low. • Tallies three hits in win
Urshela went 3-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Urshela just returned from the injured list Thursday after missing about a month due to a hamstring injury, and these were his first hits since returning, pushing his season average up to a solid .290. The 32-year-old should continue to start most days at third base, though the team will likely find him regular off days to ensure he stays healthy. Matt Vierling is the top option to start at the hot corner when Urshela is on the bench. Rotowire.com Today, 5:54 am

    • Walker Buehler beats Reds for first win since ’22
Walker Buehler recorded seven strikeouts over six shutout innings on Saturday against the Reds for his first win since May 24, 2022.

Advice: Buehler authored his strongest start since returning earlier this month from a lengthy rehabilitation from his second career Tommy John surgery, scattering just three hits over six nearly-flawless frames. The hard-throwing 29-year-old righty generated only eight swinging strikes, but was consistently filling up the zone, resulting in a robust 35 percent CSW. He’s starting to look like an upper-echelon fantasy contributor again, but it’s probably going to take him some time to continue knocking off the rust. He’s in line for a rematch against the Reds on Friday in Cincinnati. Rotoworld Today, 3:43 am
    • Stuck with loss Saturday
Cano (2-2) allowed two runs on two hits in one-third of an inning to take the loss Saturday versus the Mariners.

Advice: Cano allowed the first two batters to reach base in the eighth inning, giving up one run in the process. Cionel Perez also allowed an inherited runner to score, and the Orioles couldn't overcome the deficit. This is the first time Cano has given up multiple earned runs in an appearance all season, and just the second time he's given up more than one run of any kind. He's now at a 2.95 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB while adding two saves and 10 holds over 21.1 innings. The late-inning mix in Baltimore remains in flux, and Cano isn't doing himself any favors with three runs allowed over his last 1.1 innings across three appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:19 pm
