• Logan O’Hoppe returns from hand injury Monday
Logan O’Hoppe (hand) is back in the starting lineup Monday against the Pirates.

Advice: O’Hoppe missed a couple of games with a contusion on his hand. He’ll hit hit fifth and be the starting catcher for the Halos against Mitch Keller and the Bucs. Rotoworld 5 minutes ago
  • Remains in organization
Reyes cleared waivers and was outright to Triple-A Worcester by the Red Sox on Monday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Advice: Reyes no longer has a spot on the 40-man roster but will remain in the organization as utility depth. He's put up just a .183/.234/.217 batting line over 61 plate appearances with the big club in 2024. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago

  • Moves to bench with lefty starting
Sheets is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Sheets had started in each of the White Sox's last eight games, but he'll retreat to the bench Monday with southpaw Tyler Alexander taking the hill for Tampa Bay. Robbie Grossman will spell Sheets in right field. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago

  • Back in action Monday
Lopez (adductor) will start at second base and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Lopez was held out of the lineup for Sunday's 5-1 win over the Cardinals with adductor soreness, but the injury was apparently just a minor concern. After serving as the White Sox's leadoff hitter in each of his last 12 starts, the lefty-hitting Lopez will drop the bottom of the order Monday, likely because Chicago is opposing a southpaw in Tyler Alexander. • Back on bench Monday
Rogers is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: Rogers and Carson Kelly have now alternated turns behind the plate over Detroit's last eight games, with both backstops making four starts apiece. The timeshare arrangement will make it difficult to extract much fantasy value from Rogers, who is batting .179 with two home runs and five RBI over 22 games this season. • May begin rehab assignment this week
Urshela (hamstring) could join Triple-A Toledo this week to begin a rehab assignment, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Advice: Urshela remained with the Tigers for Monday's series opener in Cleveland and was spotted doing some pregame running on the field in what McCosky describes as a potential final test before the third baseman is cleared for a rehab assignment. Before landing on the 10-day injured list April 20, Urshela slashed .298/.310/.333 over 58 plate appearances with the Tigers. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago

  • Moves to 60-day IL
The Cardinals transferred Edman (wrist) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.

Advice: Edman has been on the IL all season while working his way back from October surgery on his right wrist. The 28-year-old has resumed taking swings from both sides of the plate without incident, but since he has yet to be cleared for full baseball activities, the expectation was that he would still need at least a few more weeks to finish up his rehab program. With that in mind, Edman's move to the 60-day IL doesn't come as surprise, and his potential timeline for a return won't be dramatically affected as a result. He won't be eligible to make his 2024 Cardinals debut until May 24. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago
