      Advice: Fry plated two of Cleveland's three runs with a single in the first inning. He has been swinging a hot bat in May, slashing .353/.488/.647 with three homers, seven RBI and 10 runs along with an 8:8 BB:K over 43 plate appearances.       Lively (3-2) earned the win over the Mets on Monday, allowing one run on six hits and no walks while striking out seven batters over 5.2 innings.

      Advice: The only run Lively allowed in the outing came via a Tomas Nido solo homer in the third inning. Lively was otherwise excellent, matching a season high with seven punchouts and falling one out shy of recording a quality start. The right-hander is in the midst of the best season of his career, posting a 2.84 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 38:12 K:BB over 38 innings.       Lopez allowed two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out four batters over 6.1 innings in a no-decision versus San Diego in Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader.

      Advice: Lopez exited his previous start against the Cubs early due to back tightness, but the issue didn't seem to bother him Monday. The right-hander tossed 83 pitches and left in line for the win before Atlanta's bullpen crumbled late in the contest. Lopez earned his fourth quality start of the campaign but actually saw his ERA rise from 1.34 to 1.54, highlighting how great he's been this season.       Gray (6-2) allowed three runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings to earn the win Monday over the Orioles.

      Advice: Gray gave up a three-run blast to Gunnar Henderson in the sixth inning, but the Cardinals were able to maintain their lead after that. The long ball has become a problem for the veteran right-hander -- he's surrendered five homers while giving up 14 runs (12 earned) over his last 16.2 innings. He's still managed to win two of his three starts in that span. Gray is at a 2.87 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 59:10 K:BB through 47 innings across eight starts this season. He allowed all of eight homers in 32 starts last year, so it's worth keeping an eye on whether Gray can keep the ball down better moving forward.       Sonny Gray allowed one earned run, struck out six in 5 2/3 innings, picked up the win and appeared to ask Cardinals manager Oli Marmol to remove him from the game in the Cardinals’ 6-3 victory over the Orioles on Monday.

      Advice: We’ll have another update on Gray’s status when we know more. The win was Gray’s sixth of the season. He cruised through the first five innings. In the sixth inning, after two men reached on errors, he allowed a three-run home run to Gunnar Henderson. Four batters later, he appeared to ask out of the game and was removed for JoJo Romero, who escaped the jam. The 34-year-old right-hander is tentatively scheduled to face the Cubs at home on Saturday.

      Garcia went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's victory over the Twins.

      Advice: Garcia put Washington ahead with his 378-foot, two-run home run in the second inning off Minnesota starter Pablo Lopez. The 24-year-old second baseman entered the game in a cold spell in which he hit .091 (3-for-33) over his previous nine games while battling wrist and heel ailments.       Rosario went 2-for-5 with a stolen base, three RBI and a run scored in Monday's victory over Minnesota.

      Advice: Rosario knocked two singles against his former club to collect his first three-RBI game with the Nationals. However, the highlight of the 32-year-old's evening came in the sixth inning when he was credited with a steal of home. The veteran outfielder has caught fire in May, hitting .333 (16-for-48) with five homers, 14 RBI and 13 runs scored.       Luis García Jr. went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Monday, lifting the Nationals to a 12-3 blowout win over the Twins.

      Advice: García put the Nationals ahead with a two-run shot off Twins ace Pablo López in the second inning -- his fourth round-tripper of the season -- before adding a run-scoring single a couple frames later. The 24-year-old second baseman is finally starting to make the leap offensively at the highest level this season, batting .281 (38-for-135) with four homers and seven steals in 39 contests so far.       David Fry delivered a two-run single and also stole a base on Monday, leading the Guardians to a 3-1 victory over the Mets.

      Advice: Fry kicked off the scoring with a two-run single off Mets starter Tylor Megill in the opening frame. He also walked and stole a base -- his third theft of the season -- in the fourth inning as well.
