Santander then broke the tie with a sacrifice fly in the sixth, and Walker was pulled with one out to go in the frame at 92 pitches. Walker has pitched into the sixth inning in his past two starts but has not recorded a quality start or a win since May 11. The 27-year-old missed the first month of the season with a UCL sprain, so he's likely set to miss more than the minimum 15 days. Left-hander Nick Vespi was called up from Triple-A Norfolk to replace Bradish on Baltimore's major-league roster in a corresponding move Saturday. There should be an update on his status at some point in the near future, but the 27-year-old righty could be facing a lengthy absence.       Gausman (5-5) took the loss Friday as the Blue Jays fell 3-1 to the Guardians, giving up three runs on eight hits over 5.1 innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.

      Advice: The right-hander's velocity was erratic all night -- his very first fastball to Steven Kwan to lead off the game clocked at only 89 mph, but one batter later he popped 94.4 mph against Andres Gimenez. Without consistent stuff, Gausman wound up getting tagged for five extra-base hits, including a Will Brennan solo shot in the fourth inning. He was able to minimize the damage, however, and Gausman's now given up three runs or fewer in five of his last six starts, producing a 3.26 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 38:6 K:BB through 38.2 innings over that stretch.       Advice: Not good. Bradish is slated to undergo further testing after lasting just five innings on Friday night before exiting after just 74 pitches. He was spotted shaking his elbow throughout the contest on a night where his velocity was up significantly from previous levels. The biggest concern here for fantasy managers is that the 27-year-old righty is roughly six weeks removed from returning from a UCL sprain in his right elbow that caused him to miss all of spring training and the opening month of the season. There should be an update on his status in the coming days and it seems highly likely that he could wind up requiring another trip to the injured list.       Advice: Bradish hadn’t given up a home run all season before Friday, but the Phillies put two in the seats for their only two runs.
