    • Evan Phillips earns victory against Diamondbacks
Evan Phillips earned his first victory of the 2024 season on Tuesday despite allowing a solo homer in the ninth inning against the Diamondbacks,

Advice: Phillips came on to work with the score tied at four runs apiece heading to the ninth inning. He struck out Ketel Marte to start the frame but then served up a go-ahead solo homer to Joc Pederson before retiring the next to hitters. He was then the beneficiary of a vultured win after the Dodgers rallied for two runs in the home half of the ninth. On the season, the 29-year-old closer now boasts a 2.10 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and a 27/8 K/BB ratio over 25 2/3 innings on the year to go along with 13 saves in 13 chances. Rotoworld 36 minutes ago
    • Nabs win Tuesday
Phillips (1-0) allowed a run on one hit and struck out one over one inning but earned the win Tuesday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Phillips gave up a tie-breaking solo home run to Joc Pederson in the top of the ninth inning, but the Dodgers replied with two runs of their own in the bottom of the frame. The homer was just the second Phillips has allowed all year, though this was the second outing in a row he's been scored on. The right-hander is at a 2.10 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB with 13 saves and a hold over 25.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com 44 minutes ago
    • Bobby Witt Jr. goes deep in loss to Rays
Bobby Witt Jr. crushed his 13th home run of the season on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Royals to victory over the Rays.

Advice: The 24-year-old superstar got the Royals on the board with his 399-foot (108.0 mph EV) solo shot off of Kevin Kelly in the sixth inning. That would be his lone hit in four at-bats on the night. Witt has been a five-category monster for fantasy purposes this season, slashing .311/.362/.539 with 13 homers, 55 RBI, 66 runs scored and 22 stolen bases through his first 87 games. • Lindor has two hits, HR in win over Nationals
Francisco Lindor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a 7-2 win over the Nationals in 10 innings on Tuesday.

Advice: Lindor hit three balls over 100 mph on Tuesday, including a 101.9 mph double and a 100.5 mph home run that traveled 403 feet for his 14th big fly of the season. The veteran may have started the year slowly, but he’s hitting .315 over his last six weeks with six home runs, 26 runs scored, and nine steals in 35 games. That will certainly do. • Two hits in return
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: Diaz was activated from the injured list after three weeks and returned to serve as the designated hitter while hitting fifth. He collected a hit in his first plate appearance, showing no signs of rust. Diaz's return will likely push Jacob Stallings into a backup role and could end consistent playing time for Hunter Goodman. • Three-hit effort in win
Witt went 3-for-4 with a triple, one RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Witt had gone 10 games without a multi-hit effort before Sunday's performance. The shortstop closed the month 33-for-108 (.306) with 12 extra-base hits, 12 RBI, 14 runs scored and six stolen bases over 27 contests. Through 86 games this year, Witt is slashing .312/.363/.534 with 12 home runs, 22 stolen bases, 54 RBI, 65 runs, 22 doubles and nine triples. He's made modest gains in plate discipline with a 7.3 percent walk rate (up from 5.9 percent last year) and 16.7 percent strikeout rate (down from 17.4 percent) to sustain his elite production. • Finishes single short of cycle
Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:29 pm

    • Launches grand slam
Turang went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Sunday's win against the Cubs.

Advice: Turang took Kyle Hendricks deep with the bases loaded to put the finishing touches on a seven-run fourth inning for the Brewers. The 24-year-old has now hit two grand slams over the past eight days, giving him a career-best 37 RBI on the campaign. The middle infielder has enjoyed an exceptional breakout season, batting .292 with six home runs, 37 RBI, 40 runs scored and 28 stolen bases in 80 games played. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:19 pm

The 34-year-old logged his fourth consecutive quality start and his 14th of the season, tied for first in MLB. Over his past four starts, the right-hander has registered a robust 1.46 ERA along with a 1.01 WHIP and 30:7 K:BB over 24.2 innings.
