• Absent from lineup
Nevin is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest in Houston.

Advice: Nevin's production has cratered in May (3-for-39) and with that his playing time has also slipped. He's now started just half of the Athletics' last 10 games, and the last time he was in the lineup versus a right-hander he was down in the No. 8 spot. Rotowire.com Today, 1:30 pm

  • Brandon Nimmo scratched from Thursday’s lineup
Brandon Nimmo has been scratched from the lineup for Thursday’s showdown against the Phillies due to illness.

Advice: Nimmo is dealing with a stomach bug, which will keep him out for at least Thursday’s contest. It’ll be Tyrone Taylor moving up to the leadoff spot and DJ Stewart taking over in left field. He’s presumably day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 1:28 pm

  • Scratched from lineup
Nimmo was scratched from the Mets' lineup prior to Thursday's game against the Phillies due to a stomach illness, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Advice: Nimmo wasn't feeling well heading into Thursday's contest, so the Mets will give him the day off to recover. In the meantime, DJ Stewart will take Nimmo's place in left field and bat fifth, moving Tyrone Taylor into the leadoff spot. Rotowire.com Today, 1:22 pm

  • Max Kepler goes hitless in Twins’ shutout loss
Max Kepler went 0-for-4 with a strikeout on Thursday in the Twins’ shutout loss at the hands of the Yankees.

Advice: Kepler has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball of late, hitting .354 (17-for-48) with two homers and seven doubles in 14 games since the start of May, but wasn’t able to get anything going in this one. He wasn’t alone as Minnesota’s lineup wound up being limited to just three hits as Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt and reliever Victor González combined on a shutout. Rotoworld Today, 12:32 pm

  • Aaron Judge doubles twice in victory over Twins
Aaron Judge doubled twice on Thursday in the Yankees’ win over the Twins.

Advice: Judge scalded a pair of doubles in this one that carried exit velocities over 108 mph and traveled over 400 feet, but wound up staying in the yard at spacious Target Field in Minnesota. He finished 2-for-3 with a walk, reaching base safely in three of his four plate appearances in the one-sided affair. The 32-year-old former AL MVP has rebounded from a frosty start at the dish this season, batting .396 (19-for-48) with five homers and nine doubles in 14 contests since the start of May. • Absent from Thursday's lineup
Rojas is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Mets.

Advice: Rojas has perked up at the plate lately, hitting .350 with one home run, six RBI and two stolen bases over his last six games. He'll begin Thursday's festivities on the bench, though, yielding to Cristian Pache in center field. Rotowire.com Today, 12:05 pm

  • Resting Thursday
Bader isn't in the Mets' lineup for Thursday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: Bader tallied a base hit in both of the games he played during New York's current series against Philadelphia, and he'll get a day off during Thursday's finale. His absence will allow Tyrone Taylor to start in center field, batting fifth. Rotowire.com Today, 11:58 am
  • Tyler O’Neill not in the Red Sox lineup on Thursday
Tyler O’Neill is not in the lineup on Thursday as the Red Sox take on the Rays.

Advice: After getting off to a torrid start, O’Neill has struggled of late. Since his collision with Rafael Devers in the outfield on April 15th which landed O’Neill on the concussion IL, the outfielder has hit just .219 with three home runs and a 41.5 percent strikeout rate. He was hitting .313 with seven home runs and a 21 percent strikeout rate prior. While the early season sample size is small, it’s worth noting that concussion symptoms can linger, as we saw with Anthony Rizzo last year. Perhaps it’s just a cold stretch, but maybe O’Neill is still feeling some effects of the head injury. Rob Refsnyder will be in left field and hitting third on Thursday while Garrett Cooper will DH and bat sixth. Rotoworld Today, 11:37 am
  • Gets Thursday off
O'Neill isn't in the Red Sox's lineup for Thursday's game against the Rays, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Advice: O'Neill will get a chance to regroup Thursday after striking out seven times across his last two games. Rob Refsnyder will take his place in left field and bat third. Rotowire.com Today, 11:36 am
