Hunter Brown allows four in win over Brewers
Hunter Brown gave up four runs in five innings but still picked up the win Friday against the Brewers.
Advice: Brown allows four hits — two of them homers, including a three-run homer by Joey Ortiz — and he walked three while striking out five. It’s another mediocre start from the right-hander, and mediocre seems to be pretty kind at this stage. It’s never a good sign when five innings of four-run baseball sees your ERA drop to 7.71. That being said, it was good enough for the win Friday, and it’s the first of the season for Brown.
