    Advice: Melendez put the Royals on top with a two-out grand slam in the top of the sixth, drawing 12 pitches in the at-bat before jumping on a hanging cutter from Blake Treinen. The 25-year-old also recorded an infield single earlier in the contest, giving him his first multi-hit effort since May 10 against the Angels. Melendez is batting just .152 in June with and Saturday actually marked the first time this month in which he's strung together hits in back-to-back contests. Raleigh is unlikely to ever hit for a good average, but he has the ability to make an impact with power and run production, especially when hitting in the heart of the order. The 25-year-old outfielder has been a significant disappointment in 2024, but he’s at least starting to show some pop with three homers in the month of June; all of them coming in the last eight games.     Advice: Kelly has logged three multi-hit efforts over six games in June, going 7-for-22 (.318) this month. The homer was his first since May 26. The veteran catcher is slashing .246/.326/.364 with three homers, 15 RBI, 12 runs scored, three doubles and a triple over 51 contests this season.
