    • Twins activate Royce Lewis (quad) off injured list
      Twins activated INF Royce Lewis off the 10-day injured list.

      Advice: Lewis is officially back after completing his rehab assignment. The talented 24-year-old homered and went 2-for-2 on Opening Day before leaving with his quad injury that cost him over two months. Lewis has the talent to be a major fantasy contributor, but there are going to be questions on whether he can stay on the field based on his lengthy injury history. Rotoworld Today, 9:38 am

      The Twins activated Lewis (quadricep) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

      Advice: Lewis is ready to go following an absence of nearly 10 weeks due to a strained right quad. The 24-year-old went 4-for-23 with an 8:1 K:BB over 24 plate appearances during a six-game rehab stint with Triple-A St. Paul. Per Dan Hayes of The Athletic, the Twins have instructed Lewis to run at less than full speed in hopes that it will give him a better chance of staying healthy. While that could put a bit of a damper on his stolen-base outlook, it's not a big part of Lewis' game, anyway, as he's totaled just six steals in 71 career games. Lewis will regain his role as the Twins' everyday third baseman, with Jose Miranda likely to now see reps in the designated hitter spot and/or first base. Rotowire.com Today, 8:24 am
       
    • Aaron Judge swipes two bases in win over Giants
      Aaron Judge singled twice, walked twice and swiped a pair of bases as the Yankees rallied to defeat the Giants on Sunday afternoon in San Francisco.

      Advice: Judge singled off of Blake Snell in the opening inning and stole second base, but the Yankees were unable to cash him in. He also drew a walk during the Bombers’ four-run rally in the ninth inning, swiped second base, took third on a throwing error and scored on an RBI double off the bat of Giancarlo Stanton. The 32-year-old slugger is having another outstanding season, slashing a robust .288/.417/.658 with 21 homers, 47 RBI and four stolen bases. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:35 pm

      Advice: Fry will head to the bench after a stretch of six consecutive starts during which he slashed .333/.462/.667 with three extra-base hits, one stolen base, eight RBI and five runs. Five of his last six starts came in left field, but with Steven Kwan back from the injured list, Fry could end up seeing most of his opportunities at designated hitter moving forward. Kyle Manzardo represents Fry's primary competition for playing time at DH, but both will be on the bench Sunday while Jose Ramirez gets a day off from third base and but sticks in the starting nine in a non-defensive role.       Advice: Both Adames and William Contreras were scheduled to receive their first days off of the season Sunday, but they were apparently able to lobby their way into the starting nine.       Advice: Both Adames and William Contreras were originally scheduled to get their first day off of the season. Nope. The new lineup has Adames in his usual spot at shortstop, and Contreras is hitting second and catching. Kinda weird, but it keeps the streak going for both.       Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports that Royce Lewis (quad) is likely to be activated off the injured list Tuesday.

      Advice: Lewis is going to play third base Sunday during his rehab assignment for Triple-A St. Paul. The 24-year-old will then have a chance to return to the Minnesota lineup as long as everything goes well in that outing. Lewis has significant fantasy upside, and if he’s still on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues, he’s well worth roster consideration.
