All-Star Break Notes
As always, I hope this message finds you well and maybe with some healthy pitchers. The shift and pitch clock seems to have a good affect to the game from a viewership standpoint. However, I look forward to seeing some articles on injuries, babip and who will be sent the homer friendly baseballs in their chase for a homer title. Also, does anyone care about obp anymore or are just shooting for dongs?.
I'd also like to note that I don't believe Elly De La Cruz is in fact a human being. With all these UFO studies he could be part alien, or the reason they are here to study him. MLB aside I'd like to note a few things across the league.
The artist formerly known as Carolina Copperheads, now plain old Copperheads. Has returned towards the upper end, if not the top, of tiers in the league. After finishing near the top portion of the league during it's first two years we bear witness to his return. It's a tough road to a flag but your route has guided you well.
Total Destruction, I am not even sure where to start. Doesn't draft his own team and just when I no longer though the team's name was satirical in nature, he finally makes a move. So I know he has a pulse. Now, I get to eat crow as he holds position on a playoff spot and that is half the battle. Props to your willingness to compete immediately in a dynasty league in the face of long term builds of some teams. You are more than aware how to balance a team.
Place your bets. A mere 3 games separated you from the playoffs last year but this year spells a different tale. Keller, Murphy and Duran having career years certainly helps. It's only built on the core of Jrod, Riley and Cole certainly helps. Another force to be reckon with.
Builds I look forward to seeing
Bush Leaguers: Press the FF button to a year from now and we should see another newcomer to the top end. If not for Turner your team may be carded, and denied, access to the watering hole. Love the long term dedication.
Wrigley Rockets: Lots of young talent on the pitching side even with the injuries in mind. Combine this with Volpe, McLain, Gunnar, Acuna and a nice array of prospects. Just copy and paste my fast forward comment from bush leaguers and apply it here. I look forward to seeing you two compete against one another.
I hope you all enjoy your summer break.

All,
Thanks to you all for bearing with another two-round draft along with 4 new teams in the league. Nathan was kind enough to take redrafting the players off of my plate. For now, I am going to leave the NA/IL list that Nathan previously provided intact. I believe it may be in the best interest of the league to move forward with a goal of opening waivers on 3/29 to allow one day of moves prior to opening day. This is mainly for the 4 new teams who may still have some roster holes to fill.
I will be starting waivers late tomorrow with free agency opening on 3/29 so be sure to have your adds in and verify who you are adding is not on this list. If you add Bryce Harper I will be docking your next year's first-round pick. I am kidding, but please check this list.
The list should only be needed for one day since we have all 30 teams playing opening day on 3/30 and all players should be designated on IL at that point. For some buffer time, the following players will not be available in free agency until MLB games start on 3/30 at which point they should be on IL and be able to be added to your team. This is minus any snafu's from yahoo's stat provider.
With that being noted I am reminding all teams that players can be added directly to the IL from the FA wire. We will reimplement the 5 adds per week rule and I will try to do this as close to game time as possible to ensure teams needing to readd players to the IL will not be penalized a move.
