Ok here it is. It will require a little more monitoring by me, and I'd welcome any help with it, but I will turn off the locks.
Teams
actively in the playoffs, and a team is to be considered active until
the Monday they are not in a playoff game, will be allowed to do only
the following.
1. Pick up up to Two players on Sunday. These pick ups do not carry through the week if you do not use them on Sunday they are gone.
2. Make waiver claims
3. With permission from the commissioner replace a DL player. I do not want to have to inspect every roster if a move is made to do this without my knowledge. Since I can't see the move of a player to the DL I will assume that some team is just picking up a player.
4. Also with permission from the Commissioner- Replace a player that is done for the year but not DL. This player will not be allowed to play again for the team in question.
Also remember this league is very anti-streaming. IF you pick up a starter they had better stay on your roster for a entire week. If I see a team try to get around this with some creative use of the waiver claim/Sunday pick up I will enforce the leagues documented punishment. Since this is the playoffs I believe that I will jump straight to a level 2 infraction. If I see one instance of a pitcher being added and cut especially before said start or even immediately after for another starting pitcher this will be deemed as streaming.
Punishment for each infraction follows.
1. Loss of 18th round pick
(this document will be the warning)
2. Loss of 17th round pick. pick goes to the team that they screwed with
tactic
3. Lost of 16th pick, loss of best player for
week, total lock down of add/drop for two weeks
4. Removal from league

Season starts up next week. Dues information can be found by clicking older commish notes or just clicking the dues tab. Wanted to get the long note off the main page so we don't have to scroll down five pages to get to the message board post.

As always it is a honor and privilege to run this league. Every year I think this league can't get any better and every year I am proven wrong. I run a few other leagues, and some of you are in these as well, and I'm in a few more and even combined they can't touch this one. So I look forward to another season that will likely find me extremely busy documenting all the actions that take place over the next couple of months. There is also of course the matter of league dues because a league this epic deserves a cash price to the victor.
Dues are 10 dollars and can be paid by Paypal or Check/Money Order. Please make sure to reference your team in either

As always payment will not be marked as received till I have it in hand.
From the league rules document
League Dues
1. Dues (10 dollars per team) are required to be paid no later then July 31st
each year. These dues can be paid as early as the league opens by the means
posted in the commissioner’s note on the league page.
2. For each month dues are not paid (up to three months) a 5 dollar late fee
will be added to your dues. This late fee will go to the commissioner.
3. Any dues that are not paid will be paid by the commissioner up to five teams not counting their own.
4. Dues are non-refundable, and it is highly recommended that they not be paid in advance, pay only for the current year.
5. Failure to pay dues by end of baseball season will likely mean removal from league.
League Prizes
If every team pays their league dues the league will bring in 200 dollars. Here is the breakdown of where this money will go.
Prize for League Champion (trophy cost will come from this)—150
Prize for League Runner up—40
Prize for Leagues best regular season record—10 (league dues for the following season)
