  • Gelof knocks in run Thursday
Zack Gelof went 1-for-3 with an RBI against the Astros on Thursday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Oakland offense. Gelof recorded his first hit and RBI in his third game since returning from the IL. He needs to regain his power stroke if he’s even going to approach the impact fantasy managers expected from him before the season. Rotoworld Today, 8:25 pm
  • Impactful off bench
Stott went 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBI and a run during Thursday's 6-5 extra-innings loss to the Mets.

Advice: Stott initially was left out of the lineup against southpaw Jose Quintana -- a normal occurrence for the lefty-hitting second baseman -- but entered the game as a pinch hitter in the seventh. He walked in his first plate appearance and came around to score on a Kyle Schwarber double, drove in the game-tying run on an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth, and brought the Phillies to within one in the 11th after a fielder's choice plated Nick Castellanos. In his last eight games, Stott is batting .478 with 11 RBI and 10 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 7:57 pm
  • Pushes further away from slump
Torres went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored during Thursday's 5-0 win over the Twins.

Advice: After enduring a 5-for-36 (.138) slump from Apr. 29 to May 11, Torres has gone 6-for-16 (.375) and has scored four runs during his last four games. On Thursday, he clubbed a pair of doubles off Joe Ryan to bring his season total to six through 187 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:11 pm
  • Jackson Holliday homers Thursday at Triple-A
Orioles 2B/SS prospect Jackson Holliday went 2-for-5 with a solo homer and two RBI on Thursday for Triple-A Norfolk.

Advice: Holliday has made some subtle tweaks to his batting stance since returning to the minors and is batting .240/.424/.420 with two homers and two steals in 14 contests since the start of May for Triple-A Norfolk. More impressively, he’s drawn 16 walks and only struck out 15 times during that span. The precocious 20-year-old top prospect is going to get another chance in the majors at some point, but it doesn’t sound like the Orioles are going to rush him back. It’s extremely encouraging that he’s making adjustments and showing improvement right now. Rotoworld Today, 4:56 pm
  • Jonathan India (migraine) out Thursday vs. Dodgers
Jonathan India (migraine) remains absent from the lineup for Thursday’s contest against the Dodgers.

Advice: India will miss his second straight contest after being scratched from Wednesday’s lineup due to a migraine. It’ll be Santiago Espinal making another start at the keystone in his absence. Rotoworld Today, 3:16 pm
  • Out of lineup Thursday
Triolo isn't in the Pirates' lineup Thursday versus the Cubs.

Advice: Triolo will begin the day on the bench amid his recent struggles. After going 0-for-3 on Wednesday, he has just two hits in his last 39 plate appearances. The third baseman has been starting in the absence of Ke'Bryan Hayes, but Nick Gonzales will slide over from second to third Thursday. Alika Williams joins the lineup at second and will bat ninth. • Remains out Thursday
Hoerner (hamstring) isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Thursday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Hoerner was scratched from the lineup before Tuesday's game versus Atlanta due to tightness in his left hamstring, and it will now keep him from playing for the third game in a row. Nick Madrigal will cover second base Thursday while Miles Mastrobuoni starts at shortstop. Rotowire.com Today, 1:42 pm
  • Angels activate Luis Rengifo for Friday return
Angels activated INF/OF Luis Rengifo from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: The Angels tried to keep Rengifo on the active roster, but after he missed five games, they decided to put him on the injured list last Thursday. A week later, he’s returning to the fold and should likely remain an everyday player for the Angels given how banged up their lineup is. Niko Goodrum was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move. Rotoworld Today, 10:35 am

  • Rehab assignment on tap Friday
LeMahieu (foot) is in line to begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Somerset on Friday, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.

Advice: LeMahieu has already joined Somerset, but he will first go through a full workout Thursday and, assuming that goes off without a hitch, will begin playing in games Friday. The veteran infielder had to have his initial rehab assignment last month halted after just one inning due to ongoing issues with his right foot, but he's now ready to try again. Since he's missed so much time, the expectation is that LeMahieu will probably need at least a handful of rehab games before rejoining the Yankees' active roster. Rotowire.com Today, 9:18 am
