    • Francisco Lindor homers, swipes bag to lead Mets
      Francisco Lindor clobbered a two-run homer and stole a base on Sunday night, helping to lead the Mets to a 5-2 victory over the Cubs in Chicago.

      Advice: Lindor opened the scoring in the ballgame with a 378-foot (101.4 mph EV) two-run blast after an eight-pitch battle with Javier Assad in the third inning. He was also hit by a pitch in the fifth inning and swiped second base before getting stranded at third.       Brandon Nimmo swatted a solo home run on Sunday night, helping to power the Mets to a victory over the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

      Advice: Brandon Nimmo slugged a solo homer in the third inning — going back-to-back with teammate Francisco Liriano off of Cubs’ starter Javier Assad. His 379-foot (101.3 mph EV) solo shot increased the Mets’ early lead to 3-0 and proved to be the difference in the ballgame.       Buxton went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an RBI double in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Athletics.

      Advice: Buxton has an extra-base hit in each of his last three games. This was his first multi-hit effort since June 13. He's hitting .246 (16-for-65) over 18 games in June, right in line with his .245 batting average for the season. Buxton has added a .702 OPS, five homers, 25 RBI, 26 runs scored, five stolen bases, 11 doubles and three triples across 58 contests.       Harrison is progressing in his recovery from a right ankle sprain and had been playing catch off flat ground from up to 90 feet as of Saturday, MLB.com reports.

      Advice: While the fact that Harrison hasn't been shut down from activity one week after landing on the injured list is an encouraging sign, the Giants still aren't counting on the 22-year-old lefty to rejoin the rotation until July. With all of Harrison, Blake Snell (groin) and Keaton Winn (elbow) going on the IL within the past three weeks, the Giants are left with Logan Webb and Jordan Hicks as the only healthy members of their season-opening rotation.       Byron Buxton homered, doubled and drove in a pair of runs on Sunday afternoon, leading the Twins to a 3-0 victory over the Athletics in Oakland.

      Advice: Buxton opened the scoring in the ballgame with a monstrous 432-foot (112.7 mph EV) solo shot on the first pitch that he saw from Hogan Harris in the second inning. He then laced a run-scoring double into center field in the seventh inning that extended the Twins’ lead to 2-0.     • Yusei Kikuchi struggles before rain delay
      Yusei Kikuchi allowed four runs in two-plus innings on Sunday against the Guardians. He walked one, struck out three, and allowed eight hits in a loss.

      Advice: The rain came at a great time for Kikuchi who’d loaded the bases with no outs in the third inning. He’s given up at least four earned runs in three of his last six starts and seen his ERA balloon from 2.64 on May 21st to 4.00 after this game.       Adley Rutschman is leading off on Sunday against the Astros.

      Advice: Rutschman has been bumped up to the leadoff spot for the first time all season on Sunday afternoon with southpaw Framber Valdez toeing the rubber for Houston.       Advice: Steer gave the Reds an early lead with his two-run shot to left field in the first inning. It was his ninth long ball of the season and his third through 19 contests in June.       Alvarez went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the Cubs.

      Advice: Alvarez's solo home run off Jameson Taillon in the fifth inning was the only run the Mets could muster Saturday. He later added a double in the seventh frame and walked in the ninth. Alvarez has homered on back-to-back days and has gone 10-for-19 with two long balls and six RBI over his past five contests.
