    • Day off Wednesday
Garver is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

Advice: Garver looks to be getting a routine day off for the series finale. With Garver on the bench, Cal Raleigh will serve as Seattle's designated hitter, while Seby Zavala steps in as the Mariners' starting catcher. Rotowire.com Today, 9:44 am

    • Rutschman has two hits in win over Yankees
Adley Rutschman went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: It wasn’t an exceptional day for Rutschman on Tuesday, but he was the only Oriole to pick up multiple hits. His two singles upped his triple slash to .322/.362/.449 with 18 RBI on the season. He has a surprisingly low 5.7 percent walk rate on the season, but the rest of the profile has been exactly as expected for one of the best fantasy catchers in the game. • Wins game with walk-off homer
Garver went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Monday in a 2-1 win over Atlanta.

Advice: It's been a rough season for Garver, as he's slashing just .150/.266/.313 through 94 plate appearances. However, Seattle has stuck with him as the team's primary DH, and that decision paid off Monday when he launched a two-run, ninth-inning shot to give the Mariners a come-from-behind win. Garver could be building a bit of momentum, as he's gone deep in two of his past four games. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:57 pm

    • Mitch Garver hits walk-off homer to beat Atlanta
Mitch Garver hit a walk-off two-run homer to give Seattle a 2-1 win over Atlanta on Monday.

Advice: Garver has easily his biggest hit as a member of the Mariners. The 33-year-old DH took a 3-2 offering from AJ Minter deep into the left-field stands with the team trailing by a run in the bottom of the ninth to give Seattle an improbable victory. Garver has been awful in 2024 with a .150 average, but it didn’t matter tonight. It likely won’t matter as long as he can stay healthy; the offensive track-record suggests more good things are coming. Rotoworld Monday, 9:15 pm

    • Homers in consecutive games
Rutschman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Rutschman homered for the second game in a row, doubling his total for the year to four. The catcher also struck out three times Sunday and is now striking out at a 16.0 percent rate. He's added 17 RBI, 17 runs scored and a .318/.361/.455 slash line through 119 plate appearances. Rutschman has maintained more playing time than the average catcher this year, as manager Brandon Hyde has often put him at designated hitter when he's not behind the dish. • Clubs third homer
Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-0 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Rutschman is on fire with an eight-game hitting streak, going 15-for-36 (.417) in that span with two homers, nine RBI and four runs scored. The catcher's surge has him up to a .324/.368/.438 slash line with three homers, 16 RBI, 16 runs scored and three doubles through 25 games. Rutschman's power numbers are more or less in line with his first two seasons and he's making more contact, but he's also posted a 6.1 percent walk rate so far. He's locked in as the Orioles' No. 2 hitter. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:06 pm

    • Adley Rutchman goes yard in win over A’s
Adley Rutchman went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Incredibly, Rutchman has had only five games this season in which he did not record a hit. He extended his current streak to eight games with a solo homer in the fifth inning off of JP Sears. The 26-year-old star catcher is batting .324/.368/.438 with three homers, 16 runs scored, and 16 RBI across 114 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:27 pm

    • Mitch Garver swats solo homer against D-Backs
Mitch Garver hit a solo homer in a victory Friday over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Both Mitch’s did well for the Mariners on Friday, as Mitch Haniger hit a grand slam to go along with Garver’s shot. It’s just the second homer of the season for the 33-year-old, as he’s been awful to begin 2024 as seen in a slash of .143/.265/.271. Based on his previous seasons, it seems very likely those numbers bounce back in the coming weeks, if not sooner. Rotoworld Friday, 9:02 pm

    • Three hits in Tuesday's loss
Rutschman went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Rutschman is on a tear during his five-game hitting streak, going 11-for-24 (.458) with seven RBI in that span. All three of his hits Tuesday were singles, and he has just two extra-base hits during the active streak. Rutschman continues to cement his status as one of the top catchers in baseball with a .323/.366/.419 slash line with two home runs, 14 RBI and 15 runs scored over 101 plate appearances this season.
