    • Homers twice Tuesday
Tucker went 2-for-4 with two homers, a walk and three runs scored in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: Tucker homered in his first at-bat that went 340 feet and would've only been a home run in Houston. He later provided no-doubter in the seventh to knot things up at five that would wind up sending the game to extra innings. Tuesday was his fourth multi-homer game of the season and he's now back to leading the league with 17 while his 1.074 OPS only trails Shohei Ohtani. For the year, Tucker is now slashing .293/.425/.649 with 36 RBI, 36 runs and a 40:36 BB:K in 214 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 4:25 am

    • Remains in game after injury
India suffered a left shin injury during Tuesday's win over the Padres but remained in game, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. He went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.

Advice: India was hurt when he got tangled up with San Diego catcher Luis Campusano while scoring on a sacrifice fly to left. India was noticeably grabbing the shin and limped off the field but was able to finish the game. It is presumed he will be able to play Wednesday, but the Reds will likely wait to see how the shin responds overnight. Rotowire.com Today, 4:01 am
    • Picks up eighth save
Jansen collected the save Tuesday, allowing one hit and no walks over a scoreless inning against the Rays. He didn't generate a strikeout.

Advice: Jansen hadn't pitched since allowing a pair of runs and taking a loss May 16 and was able to shake off the rust after allowing a leadoff double to Isaac Paredes in the ninth, retiring three straight batters to pick up his eighth save of the season. The veteran closer owns a 5.14 ERA this month and has struck out seven batters in 7.0 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:37 pm
    • Kyle Tucker homers twice to lead Astros
Kyle Tucker hit his 16th and 17th homers before scoring the winning run in the 10th as the Astros bested the Angels 6-5 on Tuesday.

Advice: Tucker’s homers couldn’t have been much different. The first was a 340-foot shot to the opposite field that would have a homer in Houston and nowhere else, according to Statcast. The second was a no-doubter that was pulled 407 feet to right. Tucker now leads the majors in homers by one over Gunnar Henderson. His 1.074 OPS puts him behind only Shohei Ohtani. • Victorious again
Woo (2-0) earned the win Tuesday, yielding two hits and no walks with seven strikeouts across six scoreless innings against the Yankees.

Advice: Woo's been excellent to start 2024, allowing just one run across 15.2 innings after missing the first month of the campaign with elbow inflammation. The 24-year-old still seems to be on a pitch count, as he only threw 77 pitches Tuesday and hasn't exceeded 80 pitches in a start this year. He's projected to make another start Sunday at Washington. • Woo dominates over six scoreless innings vs. Yanks
Bryan Woo pitched six scoreless innings while striking out seven to earn the win on Tuesday against the Yankees.

Advice: Woo allowed just two hits in this one and didn’t walk a batter. The second-year pro has now allowed just one earned run over three starts and 15 2/3 innings this season since being activated from the 15-day injured list on May 10th. Woo is now 2-0 with a 0.57 ERA and 0.51 WHIP. He’ll look to keep his hot start going on Sunday against the Nationals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm

    • Sean Murphy (oblique) homers in rehab contest
Sean Murphy (oblique) homered on Tuesday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Gwinnett.

Advice: Murphy caught seven innings behind the plate and also threw out a runner attempting to steal second base in this one. The 29-year-old backstop looked ready to return to the majors in this one, but he’ll presumably get at least a couple more contests under his belt before heading back to Atlanta. • Lars Nootbaar ejected from Tuesday’s game
Lars Nootbaar was ejected from Tuesday’s game against the Orioles for arguing balls and strikes.

Advice: Nootbaar didn’t agree with a called third strike in his first-inning at-bat and was tossed from the contest after returning to the dugout and continuing to voice his displeasure. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:00 pm

    • Running bases
Lewis (quadriceps) ran the bases Monday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Advice: After starting with some light running last week, Lewis was able to run the bases for the first time Monday as he continues to rehab from a right quad strain. It's expected that Lewis will need a rehab assignment before returning, which could push his timetable for return into early June. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:42 pm
