      The Mariners list Woo (forearm) as their probable starter for Wednesday's game against the Royals in Seattle.

      Advice: Woo missed the first six weeks of the regular season with right elbow inflammation before returning from the 15-day injured list Friday after a trio of successful rehab starts. The right-hander was cruising through his first start of the season with the Mariners in Friday's 8-1 win over the Athletics, but he was lifted after 4.1 scoreless innings and 62 pitches upon experiencing forearm tightness. Though the fact that Woo is dealing with an injury that's seemingly related to the one that kept him on the shelf earlier this season isn't ideal, manager Scott Servais downplayed concern about the forearm issue after the game. The Mariners are still seemingly anticipating that Woo will be ready to go for his next turn through the rotation Wednesday, though fantasy managers will still want to keep tabs on his status leading up to the day of the game just to ensure the team hasn't scratched him from the start.     • Silences Dodgers over seven frames
      Darvish (3-1) earned the win over the Dodgers on Sunday after firing seven shutout innings and allowing just two hits and a walk. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Darvish extended his scoreless innings streak to 17 innings in another dominant outing since returning from the injured list April 30. He retired the first 14 hitters he faced in order until walking Andy Pages with two outs in the fifth. Darvish generated an excellent 19 whiffs and tied his season high with seven strikeouts.       Yu Darvish was magnificent in Sunday afternoon’s victory over the Dodgers, piling up seven strikeouts across seven innings of shutout baseball.

      Advice: The 37-year-old right-hander allowed just two hits and one walk on the day. He retired the first 14 hitters that he faced in order until he walked Andy Pages with two outs in the fifth inning. He then allowed a single to Enrique Hernandez, but got Miguel Rojas to line out to end the threat. Darvish generated 19 swings and misses on 101 pitches in the ballgame — one or more on eight different offerings — while posting an elite CSW of 36 percent. He has yet to allow a run over 17 innings since returning from the injured list and now boasts a 2.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and a 37/12 K/BB ratio over 40 2/3 innings on the year.     • Freddy Peralta fans eight Cardinals in no-decision
      Freddy Peralta recorded eight strikeouts and yielded three runs over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Cardinals.

      Advice: Peralta induced 16 swinging strikes, including 12 alone on his fastball, and finished with a solid 34 percent CSW. The 27-year-old righty continues to pitch at an elite level for fantasy purposes this season with a strong 3.63 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 58/16 K/BB ratio across 44 2/3 innings (eight starts).       Peralta allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out eight over six innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Saturday.

      Advice: Peralta threw 71 of 100 pitches for strikes in his return from a five-game suspension. The right-hander earned his first quality start in four outings and his fourth of the year, though he's yet to pitch past the sixth inning this season.       Mariners manager Scott Servais said late Friday that he expects Bryan Woo (forearm) to make his next start.

      Advice: All indications are that Woo will make his next start on Wednesday against the Royals after making a precautionary exit from Friday’s return outing against the Athletics after experiencing forearm tightness during an extended break between the fourth and fifth innings. His fastball velocity dipped significantly in the fifth inning following the layoff, which led to a visit from Seattle’s training staff and his removal from the contest. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern at this juncture, but it’s certainly a situation fantasy managers should monitor closely.       Peralta was reinstated from his five-game suspension and will start Saturday's game against the Cardinals in Milwaukee.

      Advice: Peralta was handed the five-game ban for throwing at the Rays' Jose Siri in an April 30 game, but he initially appealed the suspension and made his next turn through the rotation this past Sunday against the Cubs. He dropped his appeal a day later and began serving the ban, which concluded Friday. Peralta was presumably able to stay on his usual between-starts throwing regimen while he was suspended, so he shouldn't face any restrictions with his pitch count as he returns to the rubber Saturday.       Woo said after Friday's 8-1 win over the Athletics that he has been dealing with tightness in his forearm, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

      Advice: Woo acknowledged that he experienced forearm tightness during his recent minor-league rehab outings, but the issue didn't prevent the Mariners from activating him from the 15-day injured list Friday ahead of his 2024 MLB debut. The right-hander struck out three and allowed just one hit and one walk over 4.1 innings Friday, but he ended up being pulled as a precaution after the forearm tightness cropped up again. Mariners manager Scott Servais said he expects Woo to be fine, and for now, the expectation is that the 24-year-old will make his next start, which is expected to come Wednesday against Kansas City.
