    • Christopher Morel leaves game with apparent injury
      Christopher Morel was removed from Saturday’s game against the Pirates with an apparent knee injury.

      Advice: Morel appeared to injure himself while sliding into second base on a stolen base attempt in the third inning. He remained in the game for another inning defensively, but after a lengthy rain delay, he was replaced by a pinch hitter with the bases loaded in the fifth inning.       Morel went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer, a walk and a steal in Monday's loss to the Padres.

      Advice: Morel put the Cubs on the board with his two-run shot in the sixth inning after snagging a steal earlier in the contest.       Christopher Morel singled, drove in a run and drew three walks on Sunday afternoon as the Cubs bested the Brewers.

      Advice: The hot-hitting 24-year-old third baseman capped off the scoring in the contest with a two-out RBI single off of Janson Junk in the seventh inning. He also walked three times in the ballgame, but the Cubs were never able to cash him in.
