    • Three hits, steal in win
Castro went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 10-5 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Castro wound up a homer shy of a cycle Wednesday while recording his fifth multi-hit game during his current eight-game hitting streak. He's gone 16-for-35 (.457) over the course of the streak, boosting his slash line to .270/.339/.450 through 30 games this year. The 27-year-old Castro added two homers, 13 runs scored, 12 RBI and three stolen bases while serving as the Twins' primary third baseman in the absence of Royce Lewis (quadriceps). • Ryan McMahon reaches three times in loss Wednesday
Ryan McMahon doubled and drew a pair of walks on Wednesday night as the Rockies fell to the Marlins in Miami.

Advice: McMahon worked a two-out walk off of Roddery Munoz in the opening inning and went to third on a single by Elias Diaz, but the Rockies couldn’t cash him in. He then smacked a one-out double in the sixth inning that pushed Brenton Doyle to third base and helped contribute to the Rockies’ lone run on the day. He’s off to a blistering start at the dish this season, slashing .324/.408/.505 with four homers and 18 RBI through his first 30 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:17 pm

    • Jurickson Profar tallies four hits in victory
Jurickson Profar went 4-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Wednesday in the Padres’ win over the Reds.

Advice: Profar’s unexpected hot start continues to roll on as his latest four-hit performance raises his batting average to an astronomical .342 mark through 34 contests. He’s only added four homers and one steal, so we’re not forecasting a late-career renaissance for the 31-year-old former top overall prospect, but it’s worth noting that his latest hot streak is probably enough to land him some opportunities in the future to prolong his career. • Austin Riley powers Braves to win over Mariners
Austin Riley went 2-for-4 with a two-run triple on Wednesday, leading the Braves to a 5-2 victory over the Mariners.

Advice: Riley scalded a 102.7 mph opposite-field triple off the right-field wall in the fourth inning to give Atlanta a commanding four-run lead at the time. The 27-year-old fantasy stalwart hasn’t exactly set the world ablaze in the opening month of the year, batting .235 with just two homers in 29 contests to date, but he’s still got plenty of time to get it going. We’re not concerned in the slightest after three consecutive 30-homer campaigns since 2021. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:26 pm

    • Raisel Iglesias dodges traffic to net eighth save
Raisel Iglesias tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday against the Mariners to collect his eighth save of the season.

Advice: Iglesias was summoned to guard a three-run lead in the final frame and certainly made things interesting by issuing a leadoff walk to Luke Raley before giving up a single to ensuing batter Julio Rodríguez. He set down Mitch Haniger and Jorge Polanco before getting Cal Raleigh to ground out to preserve the victory. The 34-year-old veteran stopper has converted eight of nine save opportunities this season to accompany a sparkling 2.19 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 9/3 K/BB ratio across 12 1/3 innings (13 appearances). • Willi Castro goes 3-for-5, steals base
Willi Castro went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double and a stolen base Wednesday as the Twins took down the White Sox 10-5.

Advice: Castro has really warmed up, going 16-for-35 with eight RBI in his last eight games. That’s raised his OPS from .538 to 789. He was in line to lose playing time due to Carlos Correa’s return, but the hot streak has changed that, and now that Byron Buxton is down, there’s little doubt that Castro will stay in the lineup for a while. He’s an option for teams in need of steals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:27 pm

    • Collects three more hits Tuesday
Profar went 3-for-4 with a double in Tuesday's win over Cincinnati.

Advice: Profar extended his modest hitting streak to seven games, and he has three multi-hit performances over that stretch. The veteran logged his third straight game in the leadoff spot Tuesday and is batting atop the lineup again Wednesday versus right-hander Graham Ashcraft. Profar has been arguably the Padres' best hitter in the early part of the campaign, slashing .318/.413/.505 with four homers, 19 RBI, 16 runs and a stolen base through 33 games. • Nursing minor injury
Rays manager Kevin Cash said Paredes is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers due to his body and arm "barking a little bit," Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Cash seemed to suggest that Paredes isn't dealing with anything more than general soreness, with the skipper adding that Wednesday was an optimal time to give the third baseman a breather since he'll benefit from a two-day break with the Rays being off Thursday. Paredes, who had started each of the previous 11 games, should be back in the lineup when the Rays open their series with the Mets on Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:08 am

    • On bench Wednesday
D'Arnaud is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Seattle.

Advice: He was behind the plate for Tuesday's 3-2 loss, so d'Arnaud will get a break for Wednesday's afternoon contest. Chadwick Tromp will start at catcher and will form a battery with starting pitcher Chris Sale. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:51 am
