    • Steven Kwan drives in game-winning run vs. Astros
Steven Kwan went 3-for-5 with a triple, double, and two RBI in a 3-2 win over the Astros on Wednesday.

Advice: After knocking a base hit in the first inning, Kwan drove in a run with a triple in the fifth. He came through in a big spot in the tenth, driving in the go-ahead run with a double. Kwan capped off his day with a game-ending diving catch in the bottom of the inning. The 26-year-old outfielder is slashing .360/.403/.512 with three homers, 27 runs scored, 11 RBI, and three steals across 134 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:03 pm

    • Wins third straight
Ober (3-1) earned the win Wednesday over the White Sox, allowing four runs on six hits while striking out three over six innings.

Advice: After allowing two runs in the opening frame, Ober settled in to hold Chicago to just two more runs over his final five innings en route to a third consecutive winning decision. The four runs were the most Ober's allowed since he was tagged for eight runs in his first start of the year against Kansas City -- he'd held opponents to two runs or fewer in each of his subsequent four outings. Overall, the 28-year-old right-hander sports a 4.55 ERA with a 1.04 WHIP and 28:7 K:BB through 31.2 innings this season. Ober's currently slated for a home matchup with the Mariners in his next turn. • Another lefty pitcher
Muncy is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The third baseman got the start Monday versus Arizona's lefty pitcher Tommy Henry in the first game of the series, but Muncy will begin in the dugout Wednesday for the second straight game against southpaw Jordan Montgomery. Enrique Hernandez will get the start at third and bat fifth in the series finale. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:05 pm

    • Bailey Ober gives up four runs, wins anyway
Bailey Ober won despite allowing four runs in six innings Wednesday against the White Sox.

Advice: It’s Ober’s worst start since he gave up eight runs on March 31, but still not too shabby. He’s sporting a 3-1 record, a 4.55 ERA and an excellent 1.04 WHIP. Next up is a home start versus the Mariners. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:27 pm

    • Logs first steal
Estrada went 0-for-3 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-0 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Estrada reached on an error and recorded his first steal of the year to get into scoring position, though he was left on base. Considering he logged a combined 44 steals over the previous two seasons, it's unusual that he's been less active on the basepaths. It doesn't help that he's batting just .229 with a .248 on-base percentage for the year, though those numbers improve to .291 and .316, respectively, over the last 16 games. Estrada is still seeing a starting role at second base despite the early struggles, while Tyler Fitzgerald remains in more of a bench role. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:38 am

    • Dominant in latest rehab start
Manoah (shoulder) struck out 12 batters over six innings in a rehab start Tuesday for Triple-A Buffalo. He gave up one earned run on two hits and two walks.

Advice: The 12 strikeouts were a new career high for Manoah at the professional level, and the dominant outing offers hope that the right-hander may have finally turned the corner after struggling mightily since the start of the 2023 season with his control, command and velocity. Though Manoah was placed on the 15-day injured list in late March with right shoulder inflammation, the injury doesn't seem to be a concern at this stage, as the Blue Jays have just been waiting for him to perform at a level that warrants a return to the big-league rotation. He certainly looked big-league ready Tuesday, as he spotted 62 of his 92 pitches for strikes while sporting a sinker that maxed out at 95.9 mph, according to Sportsnet.ca. With No. 5 starter Yariel Rodriguez (spine) joining Bowden Francis (forearm) on the 15-day injured list Tuesday, the Blue Jays have an opening in the rotation for Sunday's game in Nationals, and Manoah looks like he could be called upon to fill the void. While Manoah would still profile as a risky streaming option if he gets the nod Sunday, his prior success in the majors before last season at the very least makes him an intriguing pickup if he's on the waiver wire. • Reaches six innings
Skenes allowed four hits and one walk while striking out seven across six scoreless innings Tuesday in an appearance with Triple-A Indianapolis.

Advice: Skenes continued his impressive run with Indianapolis, as he now has a total of 41 strikeouts across 23 innings pitched while maintaining a 0.39 ERA and 0.87 WHIP. Most importantly, he reached five innings in an outing for the first time in a start this season and tossed 75 pitches. The Pirates still haven't announced plans to promote Skenes to Pittsburgh, but he should be up in relatively short order. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:22 am

    • Albies picks up two more hits, RBI in loss to M’s
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

Advice: Albies has driven in runs in both games against Seattle thus far. The switch-hitting infielder got Atlanta on the board in the eighth with a single to score Jarred Kelenic, and Albies is now up to 18 RBI on the season. That numbers even more impressive when you consider that Albies missed time with his toe injury. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:47 pm

    • Alek Manoah strikes out 12 in Triple-A start
Alek Manoah (shoulder) recorded 12 strikeouts and allowed one run over six innings on Tuesday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Buffalo.

Advice: With a spot in Toronto’s starting rotation seemingly up for grabs with Yariel Rodríguez (back) landing on the injured list on Tuesday evening, Manoah turned in his best outing in recent memory, allowing just four baserunners over six impressive frames. His fastball velocity was back up into the mid-90’s and he generated 19 swinging strikes, including 13 on his slider alone, finishing with an elite 45 percent CSW. He figures to take the ball on Sunday against the Nationals, barring something unexpected. Rotoworld Tuesday, 4:49 pm
