      Advice: Peralta bounced back after a six-run outing to make his best start of the season on Wednesday. He held the Angels scoreless over six innings, striking out eight batters on 18 whiffs. He scattered three hits and two walks, tossing 60-of-101 pitches for strikes. The 28-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 4.06 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 106/29 K/BB ratio across 82 innings.       Royce Lewis clubbed his eighth home run of the season on Wednesday night, but it wasn’t enough for the Twins to overcome the Rays in extra innings.

      Advice: The 25-year-old superstar did his damage in the fifth inning, tagging Taj Bradley for a 410-foot (108.7 mph EV) solo shot that gave the Twins a 2-1 advantage. That would wind up being the extent of their offense. He also singled twice in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-4.       Woo (3-1) took the loss to the Guardians on Wednesday, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk with one strikeout over four innings.

      Advice: Woo struggled early, allowing an RBI single by Josh Naylor in the first inning and a two-run home run by Steven Kwan in the second. He rebounded with two scoreless innings but was pulled after just 64 pitches with a 3-0 deficit. Considering he hasn't pitched since June 6 with a forearm injury, the Mariners were likely just being cautious with Woo's workload. Woo still owns a sparkling 1.67 ERA and 0.61 WHIP in 37.1 innings, but his current 5.97 K/9 is well below his 9.55 rate last season. He tentatively lines up to face the Rays early next week.       Advice: A big game for a slumping hitter. Murphy, who missed most of April and May, hadn’t achieved even a two-hit game in his 15 previous starts this season. It's the first multi-hit game of the year for Murphy, who was batting just .135 with a lone homer through his first 15 games this season. The 29-year-old backstop will hope Wednesday's outburst is a sign of things to come -- Murphy posted an .843 OPS with 21 homers across 438 plate appearances last year.
