    • Jonathan India collects two hits in win over Cards
Jonathan India went 2-for-5 with two doubles, one run scored, and two RBI against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: India put the Reds on the board in the third inning with a double to plate Austin Wynns from second base. He then scored on a double by Elly De La Cruz. He later doubled for a second time to drive in one more run in the seventh. The 27-year-old second baseman has had an incredible month, hitting .386 in June. He’s hitting .279/.383/.408 with five homers, 38 runs scored, 34 RBI, and eight steals across 311 plate appearances on the season. Rotoworld 31 minutes ago

    • Day off Saturday
Mountcastle isn't in the Orioles' lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Mountcastle will get a day to regroup Saturday after going 0-for-10 at the plate over his last three games. Ryan O'Hearn will fill in for Mountcastle at first base, moving Heston Kjerstad into the DH spot while Colton Cowser picks up another start in left field. Rotowire.com Today, 1:37 pm

    • Ryan Mountcastle absent from O’s lineup Saturday
Ryan Mountcastle is not in the Orioles’ starting lineup for Saturday night’s showdown against the Rangers.

Advice: It appears to be nothing more than a routine night off for the 27-year-old slugger. Ryan O’Hearn will spell Mountcastle at first base, allowing Heston Kjerstad to function as the team’s designated hitter while Colton Cowser covers left field against Michael Lorenzen and the Rangers on Friday evening in Baltimore. • Gabriel Moreno (thumb) won’t need rehab assignment
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Saturday that Gabriel Moreno (thumb) is not expected to require a rehab assignment.

Advice: Moreno is getting back up to speed in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League at the moment, but Lovullo made it sound like he’ll return on Tuesday instead of getting into some additional minor league contests. The 24-year-old backstop has been out since last weekend due to a left thumb sprain. Rotoworld Today, 11:35 am

    • Idle Saturday
Murphy isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Murphy has gone just 3-for-17 with three strikeouts and four walks over his last six games, and he'll get a day to regroup Saturday as Atlanta faces Paul Skenes and the Pirates. Travis d'Arnaud will start behind the plate instead and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Today, 10:52 am

    • Jazz Chisholm Jr. returns to lineup on Saturday
Jazz Chisholm Jr. (hand) is back in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: Chisholm is back in center field and leading in the wake of a one-game absence from Friday’s game against the Phillies after taking a 93 mph fastball from lefty Matt Strahm off his right hand during Thursday’s series opener. X-rays came back negative for any fractures and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to miss any additional time moving forward. The 26-year-old has been remarkably durable this season, managing to play through several minor physical ailments. Rotoworld Today, 9:53 am
    • Takes no-decision Friday
Gilbert allowed two runs on four hits and struck out three without walking a batter over six innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Friday.

Advice: Gilbert had posted back-to-back starts of eight shutout innings, so this was a small step back. It was an improvement on his previous start versus the Twins, in which he allowed a season-high eight runs over four innings in Minnesota on May 9. Since that start, Gilbert has completed at least six frames in each of his last nine outings, earning eight quality starts in that span. He's at a stellar 2.72 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 102:21 K:BB over 112.1 innings across 17 outings this season. Gilbert's lined up for a tough matchup versus the Orioles in his next projected start. • Power surge continues Friday
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 16-5 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: His solo shot off Luke Weaver in the seventh inning wrapped up the scoring for the Blue Jays on the night and made the score 7-5, but the Toronto bullpen imploded late. Guerrero has multiple hits in five straight games and six of the last seven, batting .406 (13-for-32) over that latter stretch with four doubles, five homers, eight runs and 14 RBI. • Logan Gilbert fires six strong in no-decision
Logan Gilbert gave up two runs in six innings while not factoring into the decision against the Twins on Friday.

Advice: Gilbert struck out three while allowing just four hits and no walks. The right-hander saw his streak of 21 scoreless innings come to an end when Carlos Correa socked a two-run homer off the right-hander to give Minnesota a 2-1 lead. Outside of that, it was another outstanding effort for the right-hander, and concludes a June that likely will see him win AL Pitcher of the Month. Gilbert’s first start in July will see him hold a 2.72 ERA, and it’ll come against the Orioles. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:32 pm
