    • Collects three hits Wednesday
Betts went 3-for-5 with two RBI against the Diamondbacks in Wednesday's 8-0 victory.

Advice: Betts hasn't homered over his past 17 games, but he continues to be productive, collecting seven multi-hit efforts over that stretch while slashing .406/.481/.536. The move to shortstop this season hasn't impacted the All-Star's offensive production, as Betts is leading MLB in hits (49) and OBP (.481) while tying for first in runs (29) and walks (26). Betts' 1.104 OPS also leads all major-leaguers. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:33 am

    • Plates pair in Wednesday's loss
Polanco went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI singles in a loss to Atlanta on Wednesday.

Advice: Polanco's contributions ended up leading to the only runs of the afternoon for the Mariners, who were otherwise stymied by Chris Sale and a quartet of relievers. Despite the lack of extra-base hits, Polanco's performance was impactful from an individual perspective, as it extended his on-base streak to six games and qualified as the veteran's second straight two-RBI tally. Polanco's .181/.317/.295 slash line naturally has no shortage of room for improvement, but perhaps his current surge is the start of a long-awaited breakout in his first Seattle campaign. • Jackson Holliday resumes mashing at Triple-A
Orioles 2B/SS prospect Jackson Holliday went 3-for-6 with an RBI on Tuesday for Triple-A Norfolk.

Advice: Holliday flopped in his first taste of the big leagues as Baltimore continued to challenge him from a development standpoint. However, that shouldn’t diminish fantasy managers’ long-term optimism. The latest multi-hit effort raises his Triple-A slash line to .321/.451/.554 with nine extra-base hits and one steal through 13 contests. He’ll get some extended time in the minors to continue ironing out contact issues and struggles against left-handed pitching, but it’s only a matter of time before he gets another shot in Baltimore. • Leaves yard Tuesday
Polanco went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Polanco opened up the scoring with a two-run shot to right off Reynaldo Lopez in the third inning. Polanco had not driven in any runs since he last homered back on April 15. He's now reached base in five straight games, though he has struck out seven times over his last 12 at-bats. It's been a very slow campaign at the dish so far for Polanco, who's now slashing .170/.314/.290 with four homers, 10 RBI, 11 runs and a 20:37 BB:K in 121 plate appearances. • Jorge Polanco hits two-run homer against Atlanta
Jorge Polanco hit a two-run homer in Seattle’s victory over Atlanta on Tuesday.

Advice: Polanco gave Seattle a 2-0 lead with a homer off Reynaldo López, and it’s the fourth homer of the season for the second baseman. The former Minnesota Twin stalwart has gotten off to a slow start with just a .176 average and .290 slugging mark, but it seems very likely the results will kick into high gear over the next few weeks/months. • Steals eighth bag
Betts went 3-for-5 with a triple, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The 31-year-old extended his current hitting streak to seven games with his fourth straight multi-hit performance, and he also swiped a bag for the third straight contest. Betts is having a monster start to the season, slashing .391/.489/.661 through 115 plate appearances with six homers, eight steals, 23 RBI and 29 runs, and while it's early, he's firmly on pace for the second 30-30 campaign of his career. • Mookie Betts collects three hits against Blue Jays
Mookie Betts went 3-for-5 with a triple, a run scored, an RBI, and a stolen base on Saturday to lead the Dodgers to a 4-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Betts opened the game with a triple off Yusei Kikuchi and scored the first run of the game on a sacrifice fly. He later drove in a run with a base hit in the fourth. Betts added a single in the ninth and stole second for his eighth steal of the season. The 31-year-old star is slashing an incredible .391/.489/.661 with six homers, 29 runs scored, and 23 RBI across 137 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 3:05 pm

    • Sent back to Triple-A
The Orioles optioned Holliday to Triple-A Norfolk on Friday.

Advice: The top prospect made his big-league debut April 10 in Boston to much fanfare, but he looked entirely overmatched at the plate in his first couple weeks of MLB action. Holliday went 2-for-34 with two walks, five runs and 18 strikeouts in 10 games, so the Orioles opted to return him to Norfolk. The 20-year-old could rejoin Baltimore for another look later in the season, but for now he'll head back to Triple-A, where he posted a 1.077 OPS in 56 plate appearances to start the year. • Orioles option Jackson Holliday to Triple-A
Orioles optioned 2B/SS Jackson Holliday to Triple-A Norfolk.

Advice: There was a ton of excitement for Baltimore’s top prospect to join the major league. However, the 20-year-old got off to a really cold start and the team is making the decision to send him back to the minors. Holliday had an excellent spring training, but that didn’t correlate to the regular season where he had just two hits in his 36 plate appearances in his 10 games with the Orioles. Baseball is a tough sport and sometimes hitting the reset button is the best option for a struggling young player. Rotoworld Friday, 10:22 am
