      Ian Happ went 2-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Giants on Monday.

      Advice: Happ’s home run was his eighth of the season. The three-run blast gave the Cubs a 6-3 lead in the seventh inning. It was Happ’s second home run in his last three games and third consecutive game with at least two hits. Happ’s wRC+ on the season is up to 115, which is the same as his career wRC+.       Ozzie Albies went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Tigers on Monday.

      Advice: The home run was Albies’ fifth of the season. His blast off Shelby Miller with two outs in the eighth inning was the difference in the 2-1 victory for Atlanta.       Schwarber went 2-for-3 with a pair of two-run homers and two walks in Monday's 9-2 win over the Padres.

      Advice: The veteran slugger got the scoring started for the Phillies in the third inning with a two-run blast off Randy Vasquez and later added another two-run homer off Adrian Morejon in the sixth. It was Schwarber's second multi-HR game this season and the 28th of his career. Schwarber batted .179 in his first seven games of June, but he's found his power stroke of late with five homers over his last seven contests.       Kyle Schwarber launched a pair of two-run homers on Monday, leading the Phillies to a 9-2 blowout victory over the Padres.

      Advice: Schwarber went deep off Padres starter Randy Vásquez deep in the third inning before taking reliever Adrian Morejon out a couple frames later to record his third multi-homer performance of the season. It’s the second time in the last week that he’s accomplished the feat.       Advice: Pillar will begin Monday's game in the dugout after starting in each of the Angels' last seven games. Pillar is slashing .340/.381/.594 with six home runs and 25 RBI over 106 at-bats with the Halos this season, though he's gone 9-for-40 since June 1. With Pillar on the bench Monday, Willie Calhoun will serve as the designated hitter while Jo Adell starts in right field against Brewers right-hander Carlos Rodriguez.       Royals RHP Michael Wacha (foot) will begin a rehab assignment on Monday in the Arizona Complex League.

      Advice: Wacha was hit in the foot by a comebacker on May 31st and was placed on the IL with a fracture a couple of days later. He threw a three-inning simulated game last Thursday and reported no issues, so he’ll step up to a short rehab start and continue to work his way back from there.       Wacha (foot) will make a rehab start Monday in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

      Advice: According to Anne Rogers of MLB.com, Royals manager Matt Quatraro said Sunday that Wacha may need only the one outing in the minors before returning from the 15-day injured list and making his next start with Kansas City this coming weekend in Arlington versus the Rangers. Wacha threw a three-inning simulated game Thursday, so he could be stretched out for close to a typical starter's workload if he's able to tack on another inning during Monday's outing.       Happ went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Cardinals.

      Advice: Happ was the only Chicago player with multiple hits and had the only extra-base knock as well in a sluggish offensive game for his team. The outfielder now has consecutive two-hit efforts with a home run and a double mixed in.       Kepler (elbow) went 1-for-5 in a win over the A's in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader.

      Advice: After being hit by a pitch on the elbow Friday, Kepler was held out Saturday and for the first game of Sunday's twin bill. He was back in the lineup for Game 2, however, and appears to be in the clear moving forward. Trade rumors have followed Kepler for several seasons, but he continues to fill a prominent role against right-handed pitching for Minnesota.
