The dynamic 30-year-old fantasy ace generated 14 swinging strikes and finished with a 32 percent CSW. He got plenty of support from Los Angeles’ loaded lineup to cruise to his sixth win of the year.       Michael Wacha was torched for a season-high seven runs over 3 2/3 innings on Saturday in a loss to the Rangers.

      Advice: Wacha was lit up for nine hits in this one, which makes it even more remarkable that none of them wound up leaving the yard.       Advice: The 39-year-old right-hander was scratched from a rehab outing earlier in the week due to inflammation in his thumb ligament. While that issue hasn’t gotten any worse, it also hasn’t improved over the last couple of days, causing the Rangers to kind of put everything on hold. They’ll continue to take things day-to-day until he feels improvement and is ready to resume playing catch again.       Advice: Eflin struck out six and walked none. The big blow was a William Contreras two-run double on a pitch a good four inches inside with two outs in the second. Another batter likely would have fouled that one off, but Contreras is just too good. Fortunately, Eflin won’t face anyone like him with the White Sox coming to town next week.
