    • Max Kepler goes deep in victory over Red Sox
Max Kepler went 2-for-4 and swatted a solo home run on Saturday, helping to lead the Twins to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Red Sox.

Advice: Kepler broke a 1-1 tie when he smashed a 405-foot (101.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Cam Booser in the fourth inning. He also singled in the sixth inning but wound up stranded on second base. All Kepler has done is hit since returning from the injured list, and with his two-hit attack on Saturday he’s now slashing .273/.339/.418 with a pair of long balls and 11 RBI in his first 16 games. He’s worth a look in any mixed leagues where he may still be available. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:53 pm

    • Kyle Tucker slugs eighth homer in loss to Guardians
Kyle Tucker went 1-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday against the Guardians.

Advice: Trailing by one run, Tucker led off the seventh inning with the game-tying homer off of Triston McKenzie. The 27-year-old star has gone deep in three of his last four games, giving him eight homers while slashing .298/.407/.570 with 21 runs scored, 21 RBI, and five steals across 136 plate appearances. • Idle versus lefty
Carpenter isn't in the Tigers' lineup versus the Cardinals for the last game of Tuesday's doubleheader.

Advice: The Cardinals are starting southpaw Steven Matz on the bump, which sends Carpenter to the bench. With him on the bench, Wenceel Perez will occupy right field and bat seventh. Additionally, Mark Canha has the start as the designated hitter and will bat third. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 3:33 pm
    • Halts skid
Gurriel went 1-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 8-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Gurriel doubled in the fifth inning to snap an 0-for-15 slide and eventually came around to score on a wild pitch. The outfielder is slashing .265/.312/.444 with five home runs and a team-high 22 RBI. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 4:20 am
    • Held out again versus southpaw
Kepler is out of the lineup for Monday's contest versus the White Sox.

Advice: Left-hander Garrett Crochet is toeing the slab for the White Sox, so the lefty-hitting Kepler will begin Monday's game on the bench. Kepler hasn't been a strict platoon bat in his career, but he has now been out of the lineup each of the four times the Twins have faced a southpaw since he returned from the 10-day injured list. Manuel Margot will get the start in right field Monday. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:29 pm

    • Homers in second straight
Tucker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Tucker took advantage of the offensive environment in Mexico City, homering in each of Houston's two contests there. He now has seven home runs on the season and has at least one hit in each of his last five starts. It comes as no surprise that Tucker has remained an excellent five-category contributor, highlighted by 39 combined RBI and runs scored as well as five stolen bases across 28 contests. • Sits versus southpaw
Kepler is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Kepler is 8-for-19 with two doubles, a home run, seven RBI and four runs in six games since he returned from a bruised right knee Monday, but he'll take a seat Sunday with lefty Reid Detmers pitching for the Halos. Manuel Margot will man right field and bat third in the series finale at Los Angeles. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:26 am

    • Launches first homer
Kepler went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Saturday's win over the Angels.

Advice: Kepler drew a bases-loaded walk in the first inning to send home the Twins' first run of the game and added a leadoff single in his next at-bat before coming around to score on a Carlos Santana double. The outfielder then launched his first homer of the season in the sixth to increase Minnesota's lead, giving him just his third multi-hit performance of the campaign. However, all three of those performances have come over his last six games, raising his batting average from .125 to .231 over that stretch. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:18 am

    • Kyle Tucker goes deep as Astros top Rockies
Kyle Tucker smacked his sixth home run of the season on Saturday night as the Astros topped the Rockies in Mexico City.

Advice: Tucker went back-to-back with teammate Yordan Alvarez in the third inning, with Tucker’s 409-foot (97.4 mph EV) solo shot off of Cal Quantrill increasing the Astros’ lead to 4-2. He also singled, walked and scored a total of three runs in the ballgame, finishing the night 2-for-4. He’s having another terrific all-around season at the plate, slashing a robust .291/.402/.534 with six long balls, 18 RBI and five stolen bases through his first 27 games. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:30 pm
