    • Extends hit streak to 11 games
India went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Cardinals

Advice: India hit an RBI double then scored in the second inning and added another RBI double in the seventh. The second baseman is on fire, extending his hit streak to 11 games and registering multiple hits in eight straight. He has increased his average to .279 with five home runs, 34 RBI, 38 runs scored and eight steals over 311 plate appearances this season. The 27-year-old will likely continue to hit leadoff until TJ Friedl (hamstring) returns from the injured list. Rotowire.com Today, 4:45 pm

    • Resumes light throwing
Darvish (elbow) has resumed playing light catch, per MLB.com.

Advice: Darvish was expected to come off the injured list and make a start for the Padres on Tuesday, but a bout of right elbow inflammation put a halt to that plan. The right-hander underwent imaging that came back clean, and the fact that he's now doing light throwing suggests that the issue isn't serious. However, Darvish is expected to undergo additional imaging before he's cleared to throw in a game. Rotowire.com Today, 4:34 pm

    • Jarren Duran swats homer in blowout defeat
Jarren Duran hit a solo homer in a blowout loss to the Padres on Saturday.

Advice: Duran took Michael King deep in what ended up being the only run of the game for the Red Sox in the sixth inning. It also came with Boston trailing 10-0, but still counts just the same. Duran has been nothing short of spectacular in June with a .366/.420/.594 slash, and he’s now up to eight homers and 38 RBI to go along with his 20 stolen bases across the 2024 campaign. • Royce Lewis absent from Twins’ lineup on Saturday
Royce Lewis is absent from the Twins’ starting lineup for Saturday night’s showdown against the Mariners.

Advice: The Twins are making sure to mix in days off to keep the 25-year-old superstar fresh and healthy. While that’s disappointing for fantasy managers, at least the goal is keeping him in the lineup and off the injured list. Jose Miranda will cover the hot corner while Trevor Larnach functions as the team’s designated hitter on Saturday evening against Bryce Miller and the Mariners. Rotoworld Today, 3:13 pm

    • Receiving breather
Lewis is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against Seattle.

Advice: Lewis will get his first day off since June 14, giving way to Jose Miranda at third base Saturday. After hitting nine home runs across his first 16 games of June, Lewis has just one hit in his last 21 at-bats. Rotowire.com Today, 3:08 pm

    • Jonathan India collects two hits in win over Cards
Jonathan India went 2-for-5 with two doubles, one run scored, and two RBI against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: India put the Reds on the board in the third inning with a double to plate Austin Wynns from second base. He then scored on a double by Elly De La Cruz. He later doubled for a second time to drive in one more run in the seventh. The 27-year-old second baseman has had an incredible month, hitting .386 in June. He’s hitting .279/.383/.408 with five homers, 38 runs scored, 34 RBI, and eight steals across 311 plate appearances on the season. Rotoworld Today, 2:26 pm

    • Final rehab start Wednesday
Snell (groin) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday and is expected to rejoin the Giants rotation after their road trip that ends July 7, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Snell threw three innings in a start with Sacramento on Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk with six strikeouts. The 31-year-old will require one more rehab appearance before being reinstated and is on track to make a start with San Francisco prior to the All-Star break. Snell owns a 9.51 ERA across 23.2 innings with the Giants this season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:09 pm

    • Blake Snell to make another rehab start Wednesday
Blake Snell (groin) will make a third minor league rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday.

Advice: The 31-year-old southpaw pitched three innings in Friday’s latest rehab outing, giving up three runs on four hits and a walk while punching out six. Snell got up to 62 pitches (41 strikes) in that outing. If all goes well with Wednesday’s start, he would slot back into the Giants’ starting rotation for the following week. Rotoworld Today, 2:03 pm

    • Three hits Friday
Rafaela started at shortstop and went 3-for-4 with a double in Friday's 9-2 loss to San Diego.

Advice: Rafaela is having a productive June, but he entered the game on a 1-for-18 run. The multi-hit effort was his eighth of the month, and the infielder/outfielder is batting .417 (20-for-48) over the last 13 games. This was his third consecutive start at shortstop, as manager Alex Cora adjusts to get his hottest bats in the lineup: Jarren Duran slotted in at center field while David Hamilton manned second base.
