Batting .290 (20-for-69) in June, Castro has been impressive for the Twins, and it hasn't been just an empty average. He has nine extra-base hits, eight RBI and 13 runs scored over 19 contests this month.       Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the A’s on Wednesday.

      Advice: After knocking a base hit in the first inning, Witt Jr. drove in the only run of the game for the Royals with a double in the fifth to plate Nelson Velázquez.       Advice: Castro put Minnesota ahead briefly in a topsy-turvy marathon at Target Field with a bases-clearing double in the fourth inning off Rays starter Aaron Civale. He also recorded another double and walked in this one, reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances out of the leadoff spot.     • Rafaela has three-hit night in win over Blue Jays
      Ceddanne Rafaela went 3-for-4 and a double and one RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

      Advice: The Red Sox’s No. 9 hitter came up big on Tuesday as his third hit drove in the go-ahead run to complete the comeback over the Jays. Rafaela has been hot of late, hitting in seven straight games while going 16-for-26 over that span. He’s slashing a solid .377/.406/.475 in June but continues to strike out at a high rate (32.8 percent) when he’s not getting on base.
