    • Bobby Witt Jr. goes deep in loss to Rays
Bobby Witt Jr. crushed his 13th home run of the season on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Royals to victory over the Rays.

Advice: The 24-year-old superstar got the Royals on the board with his 399-foot (108.0 mph EV) solo shot off of Kevin Kelly in the sixth inning. That would be his lone hit in four at-bats on the night. Witt has been a five-category monster for fantasy purposes this season, slashing .311/.362/.539 with 13 homers, 55 RBI, 66 runs scored and 22 stolen bases through his first 87 games. • Set for MRI on groin injury
Lewis is set to undergo an MRI and additional testing for the left groin injury he suffered in Tuesday's win over Detroit, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports. "This is out of my control," Lewis said. "So what I can control, I'm very happy about, but this is out of my control. I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you. I'm praying, but it's usually always horrible news. So we'll see."

Advice: Lewis suffered the injury after legging out a double in the third inning and played two more innings in the field before departing. It sounds like Lewis may be headed for an injured list stint based on his comments, but more will known after the MRI. Rotowire.com Today, 9:14 pm

    • Homers, steals in win
Duran went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Duran walked and stole second base in the second inning and hit a solo home run in the eighth. The outfielder continued his torrid stretch, hitting safely in 18 of his past 19 games and homering in three straight. On the season, he is hitting .287 with 10 home runs, 40 RBI, 58 runs scored and 21 steals in what has been one of the biggest breakouts of 2024. Rotowire.com Today, 8:30 pm
    • Continues strong play
Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Bellinger has started to get going after a relatively slow start to the season. He was batting .226 through the end of April, but turned that around by hitting .290 in May and .279 in June. Bellinger is now off to a solid start in July, and after a nice bounceback effort in his first season with the Cubs last year following a disappointing 2022 campaign, the 28-year-old appears primed for a strong finish to 2024. • Hits three-run homer in win
Rafaela went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Rafaela hit a three-run home run off Valente Bellozo in the fourth inning to break the game open for the Red Sox. He hit .315 in June and stayed productive to open July with his first home run since June 17. On the season, the 23-year-old is hitting .244 with nine home runs, 44 RBI, 40 runs scored and 10 steals over 304 plate appearances while primarily splitting time between center field and shortstop. • Bellinger has two-hit night vs. Phillies
Cody Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Bellinger doubled in the second inning to score Nico Hoerner and give the Cubs their first run of the game. It would be the only run the Cubs would score through the first eight innings before Seiya Suzuki hit a three-run homer in a ninth-inning rally. Bellinger continues to stay hot since having his nine-game hit streak ended last week, as he’s now hit safely in three-straight games and is slashing a solid .270/.329/.421 on the season. • Jarren Duran fillets Marlins with homer plus steal
Jarren Duran homered and also stole a base on Tuesday, leading the Red Sox to an 8-3 victory over the Marlins.

Advice: Duran walked and stole a base -- his 21st theft of the season -- in the second inning before walloping a gargantuan 433-foot blast to left field -- his 10th round-tripper of the season -- off Marlins reliever JT Chargois in the eighth inning. The 27-year-old speedster has put together arguably the most impressive first-half breakout performance of any player in the fantasy landscape, batting .287/.351/.497 with 43 extra-base hits, including 10 triples and 10 homers, in addition to 21 stolen bases. He’s rapidly evolving into a five-category fantasy superstar and rewarding fantasy managers that have exercised extreme patience over the last few years as he continued to develop at the highest level. • Ceddanne Rafaela hits three-run homer in victory
Ceddanne Rafaela clobbered a three-run homer on Tuesday in the Red Sox’ lopsided win over the Marlins.

Advice: Rafaela took Marlins rookie starter Valente Bellozo deep to left field for a no-doubter in the fourth inning. It was his ninth round-tripper of the season and first time leaving the yard since June 17. The versatile 23-year-old is on pace for a 20-homer, 20-steal rookie campaign at the moment. If this is the starting point, he’s going to be an extremely impactful fantasy contributor for a long time, even if the plate skills only marginally improve. Rotoworld Today, 6:14 pm
    • Exits with groin tightness
Lewis was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Tigers due to left groin tightness, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Advice: It's unclear exactly when Lewis suffered the injury, though it's possible he may have tweaked his groin running out of the batter's box during his last at-bat in the third inning. The Twins are considering him day-to-day, so there's a chance he was simply removed as a precaution given his injury history. Rotowire.com Today, 6:12 pm
