    • Trea Turner (hamstring) takes ground balls
Trea Turner (hamstring) took ground balls and did some agility drills on the field on Wednesday without any issue.

Advice: Turner told reporters after landing on the injured list in early May that he would miss at least six weeks with his left hamstring strain. He appears to be making excellent progress in his recovery though, and I don’t think it would surprise anyone at this point if he beat that initial estimate. Rotoworld 1 minute ago

    • Gets first day off of season
Acuna is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Acuna is on the bench for the series finale, but his absence doesn't appear to be anything more than a much-needed maintenance day after he had started in right field in each of Atlanta's first 39 games of the season. Adam Duvall will step in as the starting right fielder in place of Acuna, who is in the midst of a cool stretch at the plate with just four hits in 31 at-bats over his last eight starts. • Anthony Santander leaves game with bruised knee
Anthony Santander was pulled from Wednesday’s contest against the Blue Jays due to a bruised knee.

Advice: Santander initially suffered the injury when he crashed into the outfield wall in the third inning on Wednesday. He then aggravated if further while sliding into second base during the eighth inning. It doesn’t sound like it’s anything that should require a trip to the injured list, but there’s a chance that the 29-year-old slugger will be held out of the lineup an extra day or two to be on the safe side. • Brett Baty not in Mets lineup on Wednesday night
Brett Baty is not in the Mets’ starting lineup for Wednesday night’s battle against the Phillies.

Advice: Baty will take a seat on the pine with tough left-hander Ranger Suarez toeing the slab for the Phillies on Wednesday night. The recently recalled Mark Vientos will start in his place at third base and will bat fifth for the Mets. Rotoworld 6 minutes ago

    • Maikel Garcia getting a night off on Wednesday
Maikel Garcia is absent from the Royals’ starting lineup for Wednesday evening’s matchup against the Mariners.

Advice: The 24-year-old infielder has been scuffling a bit at the plate as of late, so perhaps a day off to clear his head will do him some good. On the season, he’s slashing .239/.288/.369 with four homers, 25 RBI and 10 stolen bases through his first 43 games. Adam Frazier will start at the hot corner and hit leadoff against Bryan Woo and the Mariners on Wednesday night in Seattle. Rotoworld 9 minutes ago

    • Luis Arrez not in Padres’ lineup on Wednesday
Luis Arraez is not in the Padres’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s tilt against the Rockies.

Advice: It looks to be nothing more than a routine day of rest for the two-time defending batting champion. Manny Machado will function as the team’s designated hitter on Wednesday while Donovan Solano will draw a start at third base and bat sixth against left-hander Austin Gomber and the Rockies. Jurickson Profar will slide up to the leadoff spot in the Padres’ lineup. Rotoworld 9 minutes ago

    • Elias Díaz (hand) remains out of Rockies’ lilneup
Elias Díaz (hand) was held out of the Rockies’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s showdown against the Padres.

Advice: The 33-year-old backstop was pulled from Tuesday’s contest due to left hand soreness and it sounds like it’s still bothering him on Wednesday so he’ll get another breather. Jacob Stallings will start in his place on Wednesday and will bat seventh against Michael King and the Padres. Rotoworld 9 minutes ago

    • William Contreras homers, Brewers demolish Pirates
William Contreras went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and four RBI on Wednesday, leading the Brewers to a decisive 10-2 victory over the Pirates.

Advice: Contreras is rapidly evolving into one of the premier four-category contributors in the entire fantasy landscape as his latest three-hit performance, his sixth of the season, raises his batting average to an astronomical .359 mark through 43 contests. The 26-year-old backstop crushed a three-run homer off Pirates southpaw Martín Pérez in the third inning and also added an RBI triple a couple frames later as Milwaukee hit five homers in a blowout victory. He’s up to 39 runs scored and 34 homers already to go along with six homers and three steals as well. There isn’t much left to say at this point besides legitimately asking if he’s going to surpass Orioles superstar Adley Rutschman as the consensus top catcher in fantasy at some point in the future. • Andrew McCutchen posts three hits in blowout loss
Andrew McCutchen went 3-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday in the Pirates’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Brewers.

Advice: McCutchen was arguably the lone ray of sunshine on a brutal afternoon for Pittsburgh, tallying nearly half of their eight hits in a one-sided affair at American Family Field. The 37-year-old veteran designated hitter scored the first run of the contest on Connor Joe’s third-inning sacrifice fly before going deep in garbage time with a seventh-inning blast off Brewers reliever Jared Koening for his fifth long ball of the season.
