      Advice: Lopez stumbled a bit over the first three frames, allowing a walk and four hits, including a solo home run off the bat of Mitch Haniger. However, the right-hander recovered nicely after the early hiccups, fanning six of the nine batters he faced over his final three innings of work as Minnesota took a 5-1 lead. Lopez induced 18 swinging strikes on the night and now has 25 strikeouts over his last 14 innings on the mound.       Rengifo went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Saturday's win over the Tigers.

      Advice: Rengifo singled in his second trip to the plate before swiping his 21st bag of the season and later coming home to score the Angels' first run of the contest. The third baseman would add another single in the seventh before coming around to score for a second time, giving him his fourth-consecutive multi-hit game as well as his fourth straight game with at least one run scored. Rengifo has really come alive on offense as of late, batting .325 (13-for-40) over his last 10 contests with two homers, four RBI, three stolen bases and nine runs scored.     • Hit hard by Guardians
      Ragans (5-6) took the loss Saturday, coughing up five runs on six hits and a walk over 4.2 innings as the Royals were downed 7-2 by the Guardians. He struck out six.

      Advice: The big blow off the southpaw was a two-run blast by rookie Jhonkensy Noel in the fourth inning, but Ragans also got tagged for doubles by Josh Naylor and Jose Ramirez, with the latter chasing him from the game in the fifth after 93 pitches (52 strikes). Ragans hadn't given up more than three runs in a start since May 11, and he'll take a 3.33 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 126:34 K:BB through 102.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road next weekend in Colorado.       Pablo López recorded nine strikeouts and allowed one run over six innings on Saturday in a win over the Mariners.

      Advice: We certainly hope you weren’t one of the fantasy managers that bailed on López during his persistent struggles earlier this month as he’s recorded at least nine strikeouts in back-to-back outings and has allowed just one earned run over 14 innings of work during that span, capitalizing on a pair of favorable road matchups against the Athletics and Mariners, respectively. The underlying expected stats pointed to some regression from a run-prevention standpoint, so we’re not totally surprised that he’s reverted to form after a handful of rough outings.     • Luis Rengifo collects 21st steal in Angels’ win
      Luis Rengifo went 2-for-5 with a stolen base on Saturday in the Angels’ extra-inning victory over the Tigers.

      Advice: Rengifo continues to excel as an extremely versatile under-the-radar fantasy contributor as he’s recorded a strong .808 OPS with six homers and 21 stolen bases through 66 games. The 21 thefts are a new career-high mark by a considerable margin as he’s running at a rate we certainly weren’t projecting coming into the year. He’s got a real shot at reaching the 40-steal plateau, which is unreal considering he he’s never stolen more than six bases over a full season since 2019. Rotoworld Today, 3:33 am

    • Records save Saturday
      Neris earned a save against the Brewers on Saturday, allowing one hit and issuing one walk while striking out two batters over one scoreless inning.

      Advice: Neris entered in the ninth inning with Chicago holding a two-run lead and got into a bit of hot water when two of the first three hitters he faced reach base. However, the veteran reliever bounced back to strike out the final two batters of the frame. Neris secured his 11th save of the season and recorded his third straight scoreless outing. That may have helped him steady his grip on the closer role to some extent after he blew two saves and gave up seven earned runs across 2.2 frames over three appearances between June 11 and June 17.       King (6-5) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over six innings in a 11-1 rout of the Red Sox. He struck out six.

      Advice: The right-hander blanked Boston for five innings before serving up a solo shot to Jarren Duran, but San Diego had already compiled a 10-0 lead by that point. King produced his first quality start since June 2, and his seventh of the season, on 89 pitches (63 strikes).       Jorge Soler went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, a run scored and an RBI as the Giants fell to the Dodgers in extra innings on Saturday evening in San Francisco.

      Advice: Soler led off the home half of the first inning with a double off of Tyler Glasnow, then scored the team’s first run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Heliot Ramos. Soler also drove in a run of his own with an RBI double off of Glasnow in the third inning, tying the game at 2-2. Perhaps staying in the leadoff spot is the way to get him going.       Advice: Guerrero opened the scoring with a two-run home run off Nestor Cortes in the first inning. He added a three-run double in the eighth and an RBI single in the eighth to finish the day with a whopping six RBI. The first baseman is scorching, having homered in three straight with six consecutive multi-hit efforts.
