    • Ramping up at complex
Friedl (wrist) is ramping up baseball activities at the team's complex in Goodyear (Ariz.) and could begin playing games as a defensive player only this weekend, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Advice: After serving as a defensive player only, Friedl could move onto bunting in games and possibly a rehab assignment by the middle of next week. Cincinnati manager David Bell said he'll need between one and two weeks before being ready to return, noting the need to build up at-bats. Rotowire.com 38 minutes ago

    • Tallies two hits Friday
Morel went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Morel has been scuffling a bit lately, as he's batting just .176 over his last 10 games with no home runs, and he has just three long balls overall this season across 25 contests. Still, the 24-year-old is a legitimate power threat, and even though he hasn't really gotten going in that department yet, he can heat up in a hurry and hit homers in bunches. • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. goes 0-for-4 in defeat
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. finished 0-for-4 with an RBI against the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: Typical Guerrero this year: he crushed a pair of grounders at 109.5 and 106.7 mph, yet his two flies were both hit softly. Statcast thinks he’s been unlucky, and he probably has been, but even his xBA and xSLG are down significantly from last year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:56 pm
    • Carlos Correa (intercostal) takes grounders Friday
Carlos Correa (intercostal) took ground balls on the field prior to Friday’s game against the Angels.

Advice: Twins’ manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters earlier in the week that Correa was close to resuming baseball activities, and it’s encouraging to see him back out on the field. The Twins are going to continue to play it cautiously here, but it’s nice to see him taking steps in the right direction. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:31 pm

    • Going through full workout
Burger (oblique) will go through a full on-field workout Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Burger is nearly two weeks removed from suffering a left intercostal strain and is finally ready to resume all baseball activities. It would appear a rehab assignment is just around the corner, with a return sometime in early- to mid-May if all goes well. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:53 pm

    • Smashes long ball in loss
Kim went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run against Colorado in a loss Thursday.

Advice: Kim's third-inning blast gave San Diego a short-lived three-run lead. The long ball was his fourth of the season and just his second extra-base hit over his past eight contests. Kim has added 17 RBI, 17 runs, seven steals and a .238/.339/.436 slash line through 119 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:12 pm

    • Ha-Seong Kim swats two-run homer vs. Rockies
Ha-Seong Kim hit a two-run homer Thursday against the Rockies while going 1-for-4.

Advice: Kim swatted a two-run homer in the third inning, and it’s the fourth homer of the season for the shortstop. The 28-year-old has shown some pop in the early portion of the season, and he’s also added seven stolen bases for good measure. The .240 average leaves a bit to be desired, for those looking for something to complain about. Rotoworld Thursday, 3:17 pm

    • Harper has two hits, homers in win over Reds
Bryce Harper went 2-for-3 with a walk and a two-run homer on Thursday in the Phillies’ win over the Reds.

Advice: The home run was a 384-foot shot off Nick Martinez that left the bat at 101.4 mph. Harper also had a 112 mph single on the day and is now slashing .256/.347/.488 on the year with five home runs and 16 RBI. Expect the batting average to keep rising as Harper remains one of the best hitters for fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:12 pm

    • Homers in return
Harper went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Thursday's 5-0 win over Cincinnati.

Advice: After missing Philadelphia's last three games while on the paternity list, Harper returned with a bang Thursday, launching a two-run homer off Nick Martinez to extend the Phillies lead to 4-0 in the third inning. After a slow start to the year, Harper's starting to turn it around at the plate -- he's hit safely in his last seven games, going 10-for-24 with two home runs and nine RBI in that span. He's boosted his slash line to .256/.347/.488 with five homers and 16 RBI across 22 games this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 1:11 pm
