      Marcus Stroman was tagged for four runs over 5 2/3 innings on Thursday in a loss to the Astros.

      Advice: Stroman coughed up a pair of first-inning homers and also served up a run-scoring single to Jeremy Peña in the fifth inning, which was enough to saddle him with a loss in a low-scoring affair at Yankee Stadium. He struck out five and also issued a pair of walks.       Advice: Clase was sharp in the 10th inning despite a fielder's choice and a wild pitch, and the Guardians completed their comeback on a walk-off Brayan Rocchio single in the bottom of the frame. This outing extended Clase's scoreless streak to five innings, and he's gone 12.1 innings without giving up an earned run.       Elias Díaz went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI against the Giants on Wednesday.

      McArthur picked up the save Wednesday against the Brewers after a perfect two-thirds of an inning.

      Advice: The ball was handed to Tyler Duffey for the ninth, but after Duffey walked two batters and gave up a double to Brice Turang, McArthur was forced to step in and close the door. The save snapped McArthur out of a two-game slump in which he allowed five runs (four earned) and was charged with two blown saves and two losses.
