    • Resting against lefty
Lux is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Lux will take a seat in the series finale while the Marlins bring southpaw Ryan Weathers to the hill. Miguel Rojas will replace Lux at second base. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:08 am

    • Three hits Tuesday
Lee went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.

Advice: Lee tallied the first three-hit game of his MLB career Tuesday and now leads all rookies with 37 hits on the year, though only five of those have gone for extra bases. Lee is now slashing .264/.314/.329 with two homers, seven RBI, 14 runs and a 10:13 BB:K in 153 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 6:53 am

    • Connects on first homer of year
Lux went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Lux sent one out off of George Soriano in the third for his first home run since Aug. 15, 2022. Lux has been seeing the ball better as of late despite owning just a .191 batting average. He has eight hits, five RBI and five runs over his last eight games. For the year, he's slashing .191/.258/.247 with seven RBI, 14 runs and an 8:22 BB:K in 97 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:50 am

    • Makes season debut
Friedl started in center field, batted leadoff and went 0-for-4 in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Friedl made his season debut Tuesday after opening the season on the injured list due to a wrist injury. He was unable to change the team's recent fortunes -- the Reds lost their sixth straight and have scored 10 runs during that stretch -- but that's a lot of pressure to put on any player returning from a wrist injury, which can be tricky. He'll return to his everyday role as Cincinnati's leadoff hitter and center fielder. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:26 am

    • Homer, five RBI in victory
Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and five total RBI in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Reds.

Advice: Carroll looked back at home in the leadoff spot Tuesday -- a season-opening slump had lowered him to the bottom third of the order the last two weeks. After driving in two runs early in the game, the 23-year-old outfielder broke the game open with a three-run homer off the left-handed Justin Wilson in the seventh inning, his second long ball of the year and first since April 9, extending Arizona's lead to 5-0. After a brutal start to the season, it looks like Carroll may be starting to turn things around at the plate -- he now has at least one hit in six of his last seven contests, going 8-for-27 in that span. He's still slashing an uninspiring .211/.300/.278 through 34 games with 15 runs scored, 12 RBI and eight stolen bases. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:51 pm
    • Corbin Carroll homers, drives in five 5 in win
Corbin Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and five RBI in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: This was a much-needed big game for Carroll, who is still slashing just .211/.300/.278 on the season with two home runs and 12 RBI. The home run was well-struck at 104.3 mph off the bat and traveling 390 feet. While that’s great, it was the only ball on the day that Carroll hit over 87 mph. It doesn’t make sense to trade Carroll away while his value is so low, but we’ll need to see more consistent quality contact before we can be sure he’s fully healthy or ready for a hot stretch. However, it is nice to see him back to hitting leadoff, which would be important for his fantasy value. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:29 pm
    • Sitting again Tuesday
Soler (shoulder) isn't in the Giants' lineup for Tuesday's game against Colorado, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Although Soler's shoulder injury has now kept him out of the lineup for three consecutive games, the Giants have not said anything that would suggest a future move to the IL for the 32-year-old slugger. His absence Tuesday will allow Wilmer Flores to serve as the designated hitter and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:24 pm

    • Jorge Soler (shoulder) out Tuesday vs. Rockies
Jorge Soler (shoulder) remains absent from the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Rockies.

Advice: It’s a tough break for fantasy managers as Soler will wind up missing an extremely favorable matchup against Rockies righty Dakota Hudson at Coors Field. The 32-year-old righty has been out since last weekend due to right shoulder soreness. He remains day-to-day for now. It’s possible he’ll be available off the bench, but that remains to be seen. It’ll be Wilmer Flores at designated hitter in his absence. Rotoworld Tuesday, 2:22 pm

    • Moves up to leadoff spot Tuesday
Carroll will start in center field and bat leadoff in Tuesday's game in Cincinnati.

Advice: It's the first time since April 22 that Carroll has hit higher than seventh. The reigning National League Rookie of the Year did have two base knocks and two RBI in Monday's game, his first multi-hit effort since April 19. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:34 pm
