    • George Springer left out of Wednesday’s lineup
George Springer is out of the lineup Wednesday after going hitless in the Jays’ last two games,

Advice: Springer is down to .194/.276/.285 for the season, though Statcast still thinks he’s been terribly unlucky. Cavan Biggio will start in right field tonight. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:08 pm
    • Getting rest Wednesday
Mullins is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: After playing the final three innings of Tuesday's suspended game earlier Wednesday and finishing 0-for-3 in Baltimore's 3-1 loss, Mullins will get a breather for the regularly scheduled game. Colton Cowser will shift over from his usual spot in left field to make room in the lineup for Austin Hays and will replace Mullins in center field. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:35 am
    • Sitting out Wednesday
Marte isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game in Cleveland, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Advice: Marte slugged a home run in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to Cleveland, but he'll get a breather for the Wednesday afternoon tilt. DJ Stewart will fill in in right field for Marte. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:10 am

    • Cranks second homer
McNeil went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, a double and a second run scored in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: McNeil poked a one-out double in the fifth inning and came around to score on a Francisco Lindor single. He then cut the Mets' deficit to 5-4 with a two-run homer off left-hander Sam Hentges, his second of the year. It's been a tough start to the year for McNeil, though he's shown signs of life of late, going 6-for-19 with no strikeouts in his last five games. Overall, the 32-year-old second baseman is slashing .240/.314/.329 with 18 runs scored, 12 RBI and three steals across 186 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:07 am

    • Eloy Jiménez leaves game with hamstring strain
Eloy Jiménez was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays with a left hamstring strain.

Advice: Not good. Jiménez is currently in the midst of an extended offensive slump and will almost certainly wind up requiring a trip to the injured list. The oft-injured 27-year-old outfielder simply hasn’t been able to stay on the field the last few years, which diminishes his appeal for fantasy managers, despite his immense talent. There should be an update regarding the severity of the injury at some point in the near future after he undergoes some additional imaging. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:15 pm

    • Exits with hamstring injury
Jimenez was removed from Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays with a left hamstring strain.

Advice: Jimenez appeared to be limping after scoring from second base during the fifth inning of Tuesday's contest, and Gavin Sheets later replaced him as Chicago's DH during the seventh. The severity of Jimenez's injury remains unclear, but the White Sox will take a closer look at him and should offer more information on his status after the game. • Not in Tuesday's lineup
Stanton is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

Advice: Stanton started the previous four games and will sit Tuesday after he went 5-for-15 with two doubles and two homers during that span. Aaron Judge will rest his legs as the designated hitter while Trent Grisham starts in center field. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:54 pm
    • Giancarlo Stanton sitting Tuesday against Mariners
Giancarlo Stanton is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Mariners.

Advice: Stanton will get a night off against the Mariners with Bryan Woo on the bump for Seattle. Aaron Judge will be the designated hitter with Trent Grisham getting a start in center field. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:12 pm
    • Ejected from series opener
Marte was ejected from Monday's game against the Guardians after arguing a called third strike, SportsNet New York reports.

Advice: Marte didn't agree with a called strike three to end the top half of the fourth inning, and he was ejected while walking out to his position in the bottom half of the frame. Tyrone Taylor replaced Marte in right field. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:38 pm
