    • Braves activate Ozzie Albies from 10-day IL
Braves activated 2B Ozzie Albies (toe) from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Albies returns to the active roster following a stay on the injured list with a fractured right toe. It’s amazing that the 27-year-old needed just the minimum 10 days on the injured list before making his return with the injury he had. On top of that, he was doing fielding drills this past weekend to get ramped up for live action. He’ll be a boost for the Braves’ offense and for fantasy managers as he’s on pace for a career season with a .317/.386/.492 batting line in his first 15 games. Rotoworld Today, 6:37 am

    • Activated from injured list
Atlanta activated Albies (toe) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Advice: Albies missed just the minimum 10 days with a fractured right big toe and will not require a rehab assignment before rejoining his teammates for a weekend series against the Guardians. The 27-year-old has put together a .317/.386/.492 slash line with two home runs and two stolen bases through his first 15 contests this season. Rotowire.com Today, 6:15 am

    • Nico Hoerner picks up three more hits vs. Astros
Nico Hoerner went 3-for-5 against the Astros on Thursday.

Advice: Hoerner singled twice and added a double. The 26-year-old now has his average to .300 to go with a .785 OPS. This makes back-to-back multi-hit games for Hoerner, and he appears to be figuring things out after a slow start on the season. Fantasy managers sure would like to see more running from a player that stole 43 bases last year, as Hoerner is still stuck on one stolen base in 2024. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:09 pm

    • Resting Thursday
Heim is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: Heim looks to be receiving some routine maintenance as the Rangers and Mariners wrap up their series with a day game after a night game. Andrew Knizner will get the starting nod behind the plate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:52 am

    • Paul Skenes dominates again Wednesday at Triple-A
Pirates RHP prospect Paul Skenes struck out seven and was charged with two runs (one earned) over 4 1/3 innings on Wednesday for Triple-A Indianapolis.

Advice: Skenes finally gave up an earned run, which sent his ERA soaring to an astronomical 0.53 in the process. The 21-year-old top pitching prospect built up his workload to 71 pitches (50 strikes) and continues to flash triple-digit velocity with ease. It’s difficult to understand Pittsburgh’s rationale at this juncture behind having him continue building volume in the minor leagues instead of contributing in the major leagues. Regardless of when the Pirates finally decide to call him up, Skenes appears poised to make a significant impact for fantasy managers and should be rostered in all formats. • Belts fourth homer Wednesday
Carter went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a triple in a 5-1 victory versus the Mariners on Wednesday.

Advice: Carter hit the second of back-to-back homers for Seattle in the fourth inning and added a run-scoring triple in the seventh. The long ball was his second in three games after he went deep just twice over his first 19 contests of the campaign. Carter's average sat below the Mendoza line as recently as April 20, but with two multi-hit games over his past three contests, it's now up to .215. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:29 pm

    • Surrenders first run at Triple-A
Skenes allowed one earned run on five hits and one walk while striking out seven across 4.1 innings with Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday.

Advice: Skenes faced adversity at the highest level of the minors for the first time, as he surrendered his first run after 14.1 innings of work. There were still plenty of positives to take away from the outing, however, the most notable of which is that he ramped up to 71 pitches. The Pirates have refused to give any indication of when Skenes will make his big-league debut, but there is a current opening in the rotation with Marco Gonzales (elbow) sidelined. • Struggles with power
Ryan (1-1) picked up the win Wednesday against the White Sox, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Although Ryan only gave up four hits on the day, three of them went for extra bases, including solo homers to Kevin Pillar and Korey Lee. Ryan has been tagged for three or more earned runs in three of his five starts this season but boasts an incredible 38:4 K:BB and a 1.01 WHIP in 28.2 innings. He's tentatively lined up for a rematch with the White Sox early next week. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:25 pm

    • Evan Carter homers, triples in win over Mariners
Evan Carter went 2-for-4 with a home run, triple, and two RBI to lead the Rangers to a 5-1 win over the Mariners on Wednesday.

Advice: Carter had an excellent day at the plate with his second multi-hit game in his last three contests. He went yard in the fourth inning, going back-to-back with Adolis García for a pair of homers off Bryce Miller. Carter drove in a second run with a triple in the seventh. The 21-year-old outfielder is hitting .215/.315/.456 with four homers, 16 runs scored, and one steal across 92 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:20 pm
