    Advice: Rodriguez is back in action after he hadn't played since April 24 due to the hand injury he sustained while sliding into second base on a stolen-base attempt in a game against San Antonio. The 21-year-old outfielder had gotten off to a strong start to the season for Wichita before suffering the injury, slashing .294/.507/.686 with four home runs and nine stolen bases in 73 plate appearances.     Willi Castro went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double and a stolen base Wednesday as the Twins took down the White Sox 10-5.

    Advice: Castro has really warmed up, going 16-for-35 with eight RBI in his last eight games. That’s raised his OPS from .538 to 789. He was in line to lose playing time due to Carlos Correa’s return, but the hot streak has changed that, and now that Byron Buxton is down, there’s little doubt that Castro will stay in the lineup for a while.     Advice: Pham is 9-for-24 with just two strikeouts in six games since joining the White Sox. He’s going to have to hit better than usual and keep running like he did last season in order to be of use in mixed leagues while playing for such an awful team.     Manager Aaron Boone said Berti (groin) won't play in a scheduled rehab game with Double-A Somerset on Wednesday after his back locked up on him, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

    Advice: The hope is that it's only a one-day absence for Berti, but that wouldn't seem to be a given. He's played two games with Somerset already as he comes back from a groin strain.     Willy Adames hit a pair of homers to drive in four runs against his former team in a win over the Rays on Wednesday.

    Advice: Adames has three homers and eight RBI the last two days. It looked like he might bat lower in the order than usual this year, and he did hit fifth against the Mets on Opening Day.     Sal Frelick went 0-for-5 as the Brewers’ leadoff man on Wednesday.

    Advice: Power wasn’t always going to be an issue for Frelick, but one imagined there’s be some gains from his rookie season. Instead, he’s homerless in 116 plate appearances, and he has both a lower walk rate and a higher strikeout rate than last year.
