    • CJ Abrams leaves the yard in victory over Tigers
CJ Abrams homered, doubled and drove in a pair of runs on Wednesday, propelling the Nationals to a 7-5 victory over the Tigers in Motown.

Advice: Abrams got the Nationals on the board with a game-tying 404-foot (104.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Reese Olson in the third inning. He then smacked an RBI double and scored on a run-scoring single off the bat of Jesse Winker during a three-run uprising in the fifth inning. With his two-hit attack, the dynamic 23-year-old shortstop is now slashing .248/.296/.472 with 11 homers, 34 RBI and 10 stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:40 pm

    • Returning as DH on Wednesday
O'Neill (knee) will serve as Boston's designated hitter and No. 3 batter in Wednesday's game against the Phillies, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Advice: O'Neill hadn't played in any of the Red Sox's last three games due to right knee inflammation and looked to be at risk of a return to the 10-day injured list, but the 28-year-old was apparently able to show enough improvement over the last few days to avoid being deactivated again. Masataka Yoshida should settle in as the Red Sox's primary DH after returning from the IL on Tuesday, but he'll hit the bench Wednesday to facilitate O'Neill's return to the lineup. It's unclear when the Red Sox might be comfortable with having O'Neill make starts in the corner outfield. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 1:46 pm

    • Tyler O’Neill back in the lineup on Wednesday
Tyler O’Neill is back in the lineup for the Red Sox on Wednesday, hitting third and playing designated hitter against the Phillies.

Advice: This is the plan that manager Alex Cora outlined earlier in the week, and the Red Sox are staying on track with it for now. The hope is that O’Neill will be able to move back to the outfield later this week, which will allow the Red Sox to also play Masataka Yoshida, who returned from the IL but is on the bench on Wednesday with O’Neill at DH. • Reaches 10 steals
Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Reds.

Advice: Gimenez has gone 4-for-26 (.154) over six games in June, and he hasn't drawn a walk in that span. The second baseman has maintained fairly steady playing time, but he's hit lower in the order with the Guardians facing a southpaw in three of their last four games. That may be a factor in his quiet stretch, though he's still doing well overall with a .263/.318/.363 slash line, four home runs, 10 steals, 33 RBI and 35 runs scored across 60 contests. • Three more RBI in win
Raleigh went 2-for-4 with three RBI from a pair of doubles in a win over the White Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: The red-hot backstop delivered in the clutch yet again Tuesday, just a day after capping off a wild comeback with a walk-off grand slam. Raleigh cut the Mariners' deficit to one run in the third inning with his first double, plating Julio Rodriguez, before following it up with a seventh-inning two-bagger that brought home Rodriguez and Josh Rojas with tying and game-winning runs. Raleigh now has a jaw-dropping nine RBI in his last three games alone, and his season total of 42 is comfortably a team-high figure. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:33 am

    • In lineup against lefty
Lowe started at first base and went 1-for-4 in Tuesday's 15-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Lowe, who had been held out of the starting lineup against the previous three left-handed starters the Rangers faced, was in the starting nine against lefty James Paxton. In those previous three games, Ezequiel Duran started at first base, but he was used at shortstop while Josh Smith was given a break and Corey Seager (hamstring) was unavailable. It's unclear if Lowe's start Tuesday signals that he's back in against lefties, or if it was a special case to give Smith a rest day. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:39 am
    • Cal Raleigh collects three RBI in Mariners’ win
Cal Raleigh drove in three runs with two doubles in leading the Mariners to a 4-3 victory over the White Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Raleigh doubled in one in the third and then two in the seventh, giving him nine RBI in three days. That matches the total of the rest of the Mariners combined during a three-game inning streak. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:53 pm

    • CJ Abrams triples, collects RBI in Nats’ victory
CJ Abrams went 1-for-4 with an RBI on Tuesday, leading the Nationals to a 5-4 extra-inning win over the Tigers in a 10-inning marathon.

Advice: Abrams extended Washington’s early lead with a run-scoring triple in the fifth inning before coming around to score on a sacrifice fly from ensuing batter Lane Thomas. The 23-year-old speedster has been in a bit of a rut offensively over the last few weeks, hitting .203 (25-for-123) with only three homers and two steals over his last 30 games. • Tyler O’Neill (knee) not starting Tuesday vs. PHI
Tyler O’Neill (knee) is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s tilt against the Phillies.

Advice: The hope was O’Neill would return from his knee troubles for Tuesday’s game, but that won’t happen. The outfielder will miss at least one more game with Rob Refsnyder starting in right. O’Neill should still be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:16 pm
